Alright i think this is a serious problem.
I click on diablo III launcher, it patches it up everytime (i guess this is called a Patch loop) Everything is fine. But after i click play, The monstrous logo shows up and just stays there with not responding. Macbook Pro late 2011 M.Lion 10.8.2 Tried these but all no go: 1. Force Quit the "Agent" and then launch the game. 2. Delete .mfil file, launch the game 3. Delete .mfil and .tfil file, launch the game 4. Delete Battle.net in Shared, launch the game 5. Delete Updates folder in D3 folder, launch the game 6. Repair permissions of disk, change permissions of D3 folder 7. Combined all of the above in all possible different ways. All no go. Tried all again with restarting my computer, Nothing. What the hell is the problem? I guess it is after patch but i'm not sure. I remember playing just a few days ago but not quite sure if it was before the patch or after... So...help i guess? [SOLVED] You can see the actual post on page two. SOLVED!! I thought maybe even if we clear the game application itself, the launcher is corrupt and creates the problem everytime i try to launch the game. So i did the delete .mfil thing and launched with this command from terminal.app in Utilities folder:

When I added this, I was gonna suggested a permissions repair :/
Since you have done that, have you tried to repair game files?

Darn...
So, let's try this. Can you do this?
2. Click Go on the system menu bar 3. Select Go to Folder 4. Copy/Paste the following: ~/Library/Preferences5. In the Preferences folder, delete com.blizzard.diablo3.plist6. Attempt to play Diablo III. ________________________________________________ Mac Technical || Sun – Thur, 11 AM – 8 PM CST Need 1x1 help? https://battle.net/support/article/contact Rwlrlwrlwrl wrlrwl rwlwrlw rlwrlwrlwr wlrwlwr grglblrglglr? Dang...I really appreciate your trying to help by the way but this is getting seriously annoying :)
All in all, not working again... Would you like me to send a debug report or anything that might help? |

Has it generated any error report IDs that are a long number? I might be able to see the issue with that.
Also, does it update the D3Debug.txt file in the Diablo III folder when you launch it? ________________________________________________ Mac Technical || Sun – Thur, 11 AM – 8 PM CST Need 1x1 help? https://battle.net/support/article/contact Rwlrlwrlwrl wrlrwl rwlwrlw rlwrlwrlwr wlrwlwr grglblrglglr? From what I can gather, this is relating to a 3005 error, relating to a disconnected peer.
Let me ask you this, when it patches to 100%. Before hitting play, can you exist the launcher and tell me if it patches again? ________________________________________________ Mac Technical || Sun – Thur, 11 AM – 8 PM CST Need 1x1 help? https://battle.net/support/article/contact Rwlrlwrlwrl wrlrwl rwlwrlw rlwrlwrlwr wlrwlwr grglblrglglr? Also, try removing the Diablo III.app file from the Diablo III folder and relaunch the launcher. This should just download a Diablo III.app file again. Digging into the previous error post, it may be also an issue with an item in the Diablo III.app package contents.
