What percentage of potential playing time has been lost for australasian players who have waited it out over the months as compared to players in the rest of the world? Would be nice to know especially considering that we had to pay around the highest prices for the game. |

sooo, not very computer literate here. I'm fine with the updates and maintenance. but when you say it runs from here to here i expect to be able to play after the designated update finish time. because i dont know what im doing im not going to risk switching something around and !@#$ing something up. is it too much to ask for ONE PERSON from blizzard to jump on and say sorry, blah blah, this went wrong, it will be fixed soon instead of someone else doing it for them

I know you are now all busy enjoying the game. But I would be interested if someone else can confirm this also.
For someone who couldn't connect to D3 this morning (but is now playing with the googles DNS), can you try restoring your ISP DNS server, reconnect your internet (to restore the ISP DNS) and see if you can log on to D3. I did this and can log on fine with the ISP DNS settings.

Your really screwing with my experience Blizzard, I don't know why I'm so pissed, I guess after many months of these kind of f uck ups for us aussies I somehow actually expected this kind of thing to not continue happening.
I can seriously see the average gamer un-installing this game and snapping the disk in half. Were not all computer F ucking technicians Only the really sad fans like me are still playing this game in Aus. No please no thankyou FIX YOUR S#IT

Yep vandagar what you saw happening just then is what I have been trying to explain, effectively you computer found the correct address and it then got propagated to your isp's own DNS server, and then the cycle goes on, it will find a way.

Just so you guys know my connection never went down as I was already on the public DNS - it's probably better to be on there anyway.
It's simple dude ^^ https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/ |

it is also happening to me so i decided to change region but when i was i read below the option and saw 3 or 4 dot points pretty much saying that Global play (where your on another region but your Home [we should be on Asia]) will only allow you to connect to a region that is on the same patch update as you
And between yesterday about 2:00 pm WA time and now i have had about 2 patch updates so it is possible that we downloaded patches from our home region (Asia) preventing us from playing on our default region (America) So pretty much we have to wait for the same version patch to come out in America

Hey Karratha. My daughter lives there. I had the same problem and fixed it by following the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdQkPVL2ERg). Shouldnt have to do it, but at least it worked.

I think I'll wait it out rather than messing with router and home network settings. If it isn't fixed, then the online game is simply unfit for purpose and Ill obtain a refund for what I paid for it and everything I spent on RMAH.
It's bad enough maintenance takes place during peak times, but this just shows how much Blizz gives a **** about the ANZ community. It wasn't even tested and a minor patch caused problems for the whole region. |

I'm not getting 3007 errors, I'm stuck on the login-new patch available-restart to patch cycle. Really wish they'd get these stupid errors sorted.
edit: In Brisbane.
