The min max is wayyyyy off! Last try, Diablo does not care about anything unless we all say something! They nerfed the dps a long time ago. They made min max dps. Well min dps is hitting 70% of the time. Lame, but thats not the bug. When your min or max hits its off by alot! Max is deff lower most of the time. Min is way short, anywhere from 20 to 50% lower than it should be. You can really noticed this when u have crits hit! Its pretty simple to see. Try it yourself, dont take my word. Can we maybe band together and get a fix on a old bug that effects us all? They should fix the content they have now already! We get para lvls and this and that. But how about stopping that lame letter from dropping in act 3 Depths already. Is it really that hard to do? If you cant even stop a letter from dropping after the first time. why is this team making video games instead of stacking games at gamestop at this point?
The reason is simple. Activision/Blizzard is a company and companies are in the business of making money. Customers want a game. Blizzard wants money. Blizzard supplies the game, before many are bored, a new game is released. No point in fixing past mistakes because everyone is focused on new content. The way of Supply and Demand in the MMO world.
To add, this is not a console game. I doubt the PC used to play Diablo is the exact one used to create or produce Diablo. Nothing will work exactly the same. This is also the reason for, minimum/maximum damage, 400% of a set amount when more than 100% is impossible, etc, etc. Its called "leg room". MMO games would never leave beta if approximate numbers and/or variable percentages were not used.
Now If Diablo were exclusive to a game console, as planned in the recent past, we would not see these problems. We would see exact amounts and definite numbers required to achieve a goal, but I guess the deal with Sony PlayStation was a bust.
I'm with you on the numbers needing to be exact (played World of Warcraft for 6 yrs), but I'm not holding my breath for a fix.
