Haven't played since release, help plz

Well I stopped playing about 2 weeks after release and i'm wanting to get back into my barb now, I have no idea what paragon or MP is, as you can imagine i'm clueless
I do have a few million gold to get started, if anyone could lead me in the right direction of what gear/stats I should be trying to get on my gear (I know I won't get the best gear but just to start) Also, spec? when I played the best bet was to go shield and have a heap of all resist and just spam revenge errday edit: ofc my barb is lvl 60
