even when I played the beta game my computer would just shut down I would have to unplug it and power it back up that way even when I was using Windows 7 Ultimate upgraded to Windows 8 Pro. still same problem

The game has no way to shut down a computer but it can cause components to heat up and if they're inadequately cooled, that can lead to a shutdown as the computer tries to protect itself from damage.
I'd check the cpu fan/heatsink assembly first to make sure it's installed correctly. If it's loose or not enough or too much thermal grease was applied when installing it, it could easily cause this sort of thing to happen.
