Koala thanks for the friendly chat and tips. This post really helped me ease back into the game and play a build/style i enjoy.

Anyone who is willing to work with me to upgrade my gear please let me know. We can discuss budget etc I am just very weak at working the AH (i get impatient). I will gladly pay/donate to the AH pro willing to help me out.

Thanks,

Listen, after what I went through to be able to install this game (several days of effort), login properly (six more hours of troubleshooting) and posting (a days wait as my ticket was addressed), with all due respect, I think I earned a damn novelty post. :p

Koo. Which game is that?

I hear of a Shaman down in Brazil who is getting close to it: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Shaman-1684/hero/16884320

Seems like IAS have fallen off the list, I wonder how this transition will affect us as I still believe AS is require but not a must I guess? But that also depends on your build which then revolve around what stats are more beneficial?

In my defense, I'm a huge fan of Cooldown Reduction so my list might be a little biased.

You'd have to read at least the Trifecta comparissons but putting things simply: attack speed seems to be extremely out of favor when compared to any other offensive affix. If it had at least 9% max roll, it would be competitive.

Do we have any guide for a build for efficient farming for RoS?

I havent seen anything quite OP yet but the build im running isnt all that bad. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#WZlSkT!dSie!caZbZb You can change the hota rune to w/e you want. Im using the first one as i have physical bracers but i want to craft the new bracers that give 30% resource per health globe so i would change it to the last rune which has a 10% to drop globes on Cc hits. Fury generator can be changed also i havent tested which are better but if u do let me know.

I largely agreed with this. There however is an exception that makes attack speed more palatable: Weapon Procs.

At this stage, I am struggling to add attack speed items due to the paper DPS loss but the practical view is that the proc from SoH / TF forms the majority of my damage now. Attack speed also seemingly increases the Ancients hit rate which is good for building fury.

Correct. I didn't take into consideration any legendary special affix. One could probably minmax around them but that would require knowing their internal cooldowns (Thunderfury is 1/attack speed and Shard of Hate/Moonlight probably have none) and I really don't want to touch these things, optimizing them would simply increase their chances of getting nerfed.

Attack speed also scales for Bloodshed/Slaughter procs so it's pretty difficult staying away from the whole Trifecta Union as a barbarian. Add those powerful weapon procs (TF, SoH, Furnace) as they currently are and every class will continue Trifecta stacking.
