So from what I understand, there is no damage mitigation for PvP at all? I read somewhere that in Diablo II there is a 87.5% damage debuff in PvP so games last longer. Is it not the case for Diablo III?
Not trying to do any comparison or anything. Just curious about the current status.
there is none but in d2 players could get into 20k dmg skills and life of the best players depend on class ofc wasnt more than 5-7.5k life and armor wouldnt make reduce all dmg income and there was no magic resists or physical resist there were elemntal resist which were poison / cold/ fire / lightning.
although there was melee dmg reduaction and elemntal absorb. so if no pvp dmg mitigation all duels would end in 1 shot.
ps: Imo pvp mitigation should be in d3 and it should be around 20%. if players die in 1 shot get better resist armor and vit and more defenisve skills.
