Diablo® III

I'm combining universes here and asking a thought-provoking question. Imagine a Paragon level 100 Demon Hunter with all the best gear, and your average Terran marine from Starcraft. If they were to fight one another, who would win?

The hit point system is different in SC, so the numbers just represent different amounts of life. 1 hit point in a SC unit may be worth a thousand in D3.

It depends if that Terran Marine is Jim Raynor or Tychus Findlay. :P

Since we're talking about heroes here and I think you have to consider the heroes in SC and not just your average marine.

Either way though, a marine's armor is strong enough to endure space and deflect/reduce damage from explosive ammo, explosions and lasers (a Marine could stand in Arcane, Molten, Frozen and Desecrator and take little to no damage).

You're probably right. I was thinking that Inferno-level armor and weapons may be the equivalent of high-tech futuristic gear, but in all likelihood, the best that it could be is the equivalent of the technology of today. Since Starcraft is set 500 years into the future with much better technology, the marine would probably win.
