The Savior achievement: Save other players from death a whole bunch of times. "Save another player from death" appears to mean killing a monster while another character is alive but at less than 10% life. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen very often in normal play: I've been playing since May, and I only have something like 43 saves. If both players in a game are trying for it, though, it's pretty easy: Just take high-level characters to a low-level area, remove all healing equipment, get down to 10% health (which is still more than enough for starting areas), and run around killing everything with ranged single-target skills (you'll also get the Survivor achievement in the process, if you haven't already).
But none of the other folks I usually play with are interested in achievements, and it seems rude to ask them to help me with something that won't help them. So I turn here: Anyone else want to cooperate on it?
Got it! For anyone else who's trying this, it turns out to be not quite as easy as I thought: It looks like the monster you kill needs to be in the attack behavior portion of its AI script (so, for instance, a monster that's wandering off won't count), and it might also need to be the last dangerous (i.e., capable of attacking, as opposed to things like nests) monster in the vicinity.
Art, message me if you see me on, and we'll finish yours, too.
