So I just read the 1.07 preview and I was super psyched for dueling. Still am. It was my favourite part of D2 and this seems like a great throwback to that with some new tweaks. HOWEVER. One of the things that made dueling in D2 work so well was that you could make a game called duels (or duelss, duelzz, etc. You all know the variations) and then people could deliberately join that game. With the current system where you're thrown into a random public game with people, how can you know that those people will want to duel? It seems like under the current system duels will be largely restricted to groups of friends who can intentionally join each other's games. I hope I'm wrong.
Try the "Looking for a Group" Sub Forum. It will be a great way to find new friends that want to pvp.
While this may not be as good as seeing a list of game names a la D2, it's the best option we have. Additionally, a lot of Dueling games I joined in D2 were pretty bad because most of the players would stand around on the bridge. The best duels in D2 were clan duels.
Blizzard should add "Duel Chat" to the chat options so it's easier for people in game to find others to duel with.
Threats of violence. We take these seriously and will alert the proper authorities.
