There are my solo carry vids...so keep in mind the monsters have 170% health...also in the OP you can see Det0xs vid, who holds the record for solo uber kill time with a HoTA build.
Tip: in Seige and Kulle, target Kulle, let Seige follow and only hit him when you need to leech life, Kulle has transported and not reappeared, or Kulle is dead.
First off I'd like to thank you guys for keeping this information up-to-date. It's been very helpful for a beginner barb like me.
I posted in the 2nd thread asking how I would best upgrade my barb with 30m and was told to stick with my budget gear until I farmed up 200-300m. Currently I have a little over 300m and I'm probably going to keep flipping, at least for a little bit.
I have some questions for when I start buying gear; is there any guideline to a rough estimate on how much gold should be spent on each piece? (Example 50% of budget of jewelry + weapons).
Also I plan on using an EF with preferably +.24/.25 APS. I was looking at the breakpoints and had some questions. Is there a tool or formula I can use to calculate how much IAS I need on the rest of my gear to hit certain breakpoints? I do apologize if this was already posted/asked; I may have missed it.
Lastly, I do play a wiz also and I was wondering whether it's as critical that my weapons are black damage or is it okay for the damage to be elemental?
Thanks in advance :)

I checked your breakpoints, and you are kind of in no-man's land....you have 32% from gear and need another 3% to boost your main hand into you next break point.....or, to see a bigger boost, drop the mighty weapon altogether (it isn't that great to begin with really) and get a life steal, socketed echoing fury (+.24 APS or higher)) and one more piece of IAS gear (high Vit Inna's pants or upgrade your main hand ring to +8 or 9% IAS.
Getting a high + APS EF with life steal and Inna's pants would allow you to drop the IAS from your main hand ring and concentrate on damage modifiers and boost your damage up substantially, not to mention it would untie your hands from Bloodthirst as a passive and you could put on Superstition or Tough as Nails if you find yourself being limited by the defense you lose from Blackthorn's pants.
@Venruki, you are welcome
No....just the best deals and most for your gold...sometimes jewelry is undervalued and sometimes other pieces are undervalued....no need to set aside a specific % for each slot.
The black damage really only is critical if you plan on stacking +% to elemental gear, the most common being SoJ. Otherwise, feel free to go with whatever elemental damage you want....the only one that does anything is cold damage (snare effect), otherwise they just make the enemies turn pretty colors.
Suggestions on getting my EHP up to the 750k range and my dps up to the 200k unbuffed range would be greatly appreciated.
I don't really subscribe to EHP...my thought is if you are fighting and not dying EHP is just a number....therefore I don't ever structure my gear on EHP gains and am the last person you should ask for those types of upgrades.
As far as damage increases go paper DPS is easy to inflate with a high damage offhand and unnecessary IAS, but if you are truly after damage increases with the WW build switching your EF to your offhand and getting a high min-man axe in your main hand with better average damage would go a long way for you (see my profile). Unfortunately in order to make gains big enough to see the numbers you are requesting there are no shortcuts and it will flat out just cost a lot of gold....
I am finally at the point in my gear where I am pretty much happy with every piece. I just hit the 2.5 attack speed breaking point with my Main Hand and I have 50k HP which helps surviving higher MPs alot easier (I had 30k before). What do you think I should work on upgrading next?
Work on getting a main hand comparable to the one in my profile so you can drop the 6% IAS on your IK gloves in favor of Crit Dmg. You will lose Vitality, but you can make that up with a premium IK chest.
EDIT: I did not look at your breakpoints, I am not 100% sure you could drop the IAS on your IK gloves, it was speculation.
Unfortunately a lot of your upgrades from here on out are going to be pricey....it's time to farm a whole lot and hope for a lucky drop or 2.

I'm having trouble putting all this together...my APS 2.21064 (2.29218 / 2.1291) and slots into this tier:
2.00001-2.22222 aps - 9 fpt - 6.67 tps - 133.33% dps - 20 ticks - 400% dmg
so the next tiers are:
2.22223-2.50000 aps - 8 fpt - 7.50 tps - 150.00% dps - 23 ticks - 460% dmg
2.50001-2.85714 aps - 7 fpt - 8.57 tps - 171.43% dps - 26 ticks - 520% dmg
2.85715-3.33333 aps - 6 fpt - 10.0 tps - 200.00% dps - 30 ticks - 600% dmg
3.33334-4.00000 aps - 5 fpt - 12.0 tps - 240.00% dps - 36 ticks - 720% dmg
4.00001-5.00000 aps - 4 fpt - 15.0 tps - 300.00% dps - 45 ticks - 900% dmg
5.00001-6.66666 aps - 3 fpt - 20.0 tps - 400.00% dps - 60 ticks - 1200% dmg
6.66667-10.0000 aps - 2 fpt - 30.0 tps - 600.00% dps - 90 ticks - 1800% dmg
>10.0000 aps - 1 fpt - 60.0 tps - 1200.00% dps - 180 ticks - 3600% dmg
but I'm unsure how to use/read the spreadsheet:
...I've input my wep details:
Increased attack speed (IAS) 0%
Additional attacks per second (APS) 0.00
Main hand weapon speed 1.41
Increased attack speed (IAS) 0%
Additional attacks per second (APS) 0.21
Off hand weapon speed 1.41
Enchantress - Focused Mind (APS) 0%
and got this:

Unsure how to read this info, can you help?
I'm unsure as to how to read that as well lol.
Simplest way to go about finding how much IAS you need.
1.Go use a dps calculator. D3up, D3rawr, Asiangamer etc.
2. Load char data from diablo profiles.
3. Calculate in WoTB.
4. Check APS, add IAS stats to armor until you just about hit the breakpoints.
5. Record down IAS required.
:S ahhaah, yeah i'm using D3rawr, thought there would be an easier way opposed to pressing calculate after fiddling with potential gear changes.
D3rawr needs a WW tier section where it shows your chars profile requirement to get to the next tier.
e.g. theres 22 tiers (in the WHIRLWIND TICK FREQUENCY CHART), currently slot into tier 14 (2.00001-2.22222 aps - 9 fpt - 6.67 tps - 133.33% dps - 20 ticks - 400% dmg), it would be cool if it spat out the requirements to get to the next tiers. e
Don't know if I'm understanding this properly :S
So I got a higher base damage MH and also got more AS to hit the 2.5 BP with both hands. I lost a bit of crit and some crit damage but gained alot of Str as well as the AS. Once I have WotB and Killing Spree up I`m still almost at 70 crit so I assume i won`t notice the drop in CC especially hitting the next BP. Does this setup look alot better now?
edit - I have a new ammy that isnt showing its around 45 Avg Dmg with 169 STR 9 AS 78 Crit Dmg with some useless stats i think

I don't remember how it was before, but it looks good now.....how is your farming speed? Are you faster now then before and doing more damage?
Also, do you need Bloodthirst as a passive anymore with the 6% ish life steal?
Before you choose where to go with gear next, you have you ask yourself: What are your goals now?
I'm a pretty big noob when it comes to game mechanics and calculations.
I want to be able to do ubers at higher MP's, but my current goal is to reach plvl 100 first. That's going to take a long time, I know. After that though, I want to run uber mp8+. Is my gear even close to being able to do that? The highest MP I've ever gone up to was like 5 and that was only to see if I could get some keys. I only run mp0 act 3 right now for paragon leveling.
I'm thinking I might have to use bloodthirst instead of the armor passive later, but I don't really know. Oh and btw I'm like dirt poor, so any upgrades you all suggest I pretty much won't be able to get until much later (hoping for a nice drop to sell).
Love the thread and the help you two having been giving to the community as a whole. I've been stuck in a rut speed farming mp-1 and not seeing much of a point in moving up mp levels as the mobs don't melt quite as easily. I did a MP 10 alk run that took almost 2 hrs and my hps yo yo'd so bad. I would love some advice on where I need to improve to farm higher MP levels. I'm currently sitting on 55mil and decent weapon upgrades are expensive so I was thinking I might just buy a couple rad star gems. Thanks in advance for the help.
