Well I see plenty of vids of uber runs. If they are challenged, they could show one to resolve the dispute. Personally I would welcome it, so we would all know, if that is viable. Not sure why you would want to run MP6/7. You sure as heck cannot do it with the xp/hr you could at something lower. Not with some of the DH's I looked at.

Oh there are definitely builds where it's obvious the person can do the higher uber levels. For example ChinkJuice showed us what certain builds could do with legacy Nats. However with that said it is also obvious when some people are full of ish, especially if any of you lurk the General Discussion board you see it all the time. This board not so much, since most DHs come here either with a good knowledge of the class or they are seeking help from someone who is knowledgable. I think Anna's point still has a lot of merit.

Coming back recently after stopping back in July, I can't help to think how much easier the game has gotten due to nerfs and the overall increase in gear power. Even considering high MP, since higher HP mobs does NOT mean it's more difficult.

It's like my friend asking why I keep doing MP 5 with the gear I had a few weeks back (like 60k DPS with a Dex Tal Rasha's setup) and I replied that it's still nowhere like it was back in June in terms of difficulty.

Does it mean I'm doing crazy fast clears? No. But compared to the "twich-SS before you get one-shotted" it's easy.

I kind of miss the old hard inferno. Even if it was hair pulling out difficult because one spear killed you. It was like playing a game like gradius for the NES.

Anna, recently you called out my story in a thread about RoV-Anathema. Now I understand why you did. Now that I look back at it, I find that I did sensationalize it. The truth is that I was really excited about my discovery when I posted, and so made Anathema sound more than it really is. I sincerely hope I won't lead any gullible players astray. This, I believe, is your main concern here, Anna. Thanks, I'll be more mindful of my future storytelling.

While it's true that stats/gear don't tell the whole story, sometimes they really do tell the whole story. My DH is a good example. It's precisely because of my middling character that I try weird skills like Anathema and Thrill of the Hunt to give me an edge. With barely 120k damage and awful mitigation, skill choice is all I've got to support my obsession with playing through high MPs. This keeps me glued to D3.

This is truly a great thread. I work 10 hours a day and only get maybe a couple hours a night to play. That being said, I try and help where I can but also my gears grind to try and find a build that nobody else is trying. I posted about it, figuring some would try it and as a community make it better. While some have, most will just read and move on.

There's a lot to be said and learned from just about everyone, if we collaborated and used constructive criticism more often, we could all benefit.

Hey I can do MP 10 easily too!!

But i die non stop...

ahhh i love stories : ). They make me laugh while farming.

I use a DH with 50k dps to kill 3 elite pack at the same time in mp10.. hehe... just a story teller.
