lets talk about Mana and IAS. someone here suggested mana regen scale with IAS. that would actually make it nice for us to have.

um, since you play a witch doctor I am sure you understand that IAS(increased attack speed) is not the best stat for them. and you also must notice that we are the only class that has main attacks that use up our resource instead of generating it like every other class(wiz is free), barb on hit and when hit, dh on attack, monk on hit.
and the more IAS we stack the faster we run out of mana. do you guys plan to fix this? like, how come my monk attacks faster and replenishes spirit faster, without having to worry about losing spirit from attacking too fast but my witch doctor I have to throttle all the time. we are the only class where it is a glaring issue. has anyone on your side noticed? is this intended?

We’re aware of the unique resource challenge that Witch Doctors face, and how that can affect the desire for IAS. I would say that IAS is still valuable for Witch Doctors, but that value scales heavily with effective resource management, and that’s intentional.
is there a way to maybe lower the mana cost of our primaries? because if I have 75 mana per second, and I am spamming rain of toads, I am losing 12 mana per attack, not per second. and rain of toads has 50% IAS(ironically lol) built into it. so its like I am actually losing 24 mana regen per second.
do you guys have any plans to alter this? I mean i understand now that its intended. but it doesn't have to be forever right? I just feel like this is the one mechanic that is not ok with me because I look at every other class and im freaking jealous. I want to stack IAS. as it stands im going to break 200kdps without IAS. but if I think about it and I could stack it without going OOM too fast, I can easily break 250 or more.
other suggestions- grasp of the dead- please make wider area.
also when i use grave injustice with hex or grasp of the dead, it makes the other one disappear.
Can we make a change that lets us not be locked into the 4 piece zuni set just for mana regen?
Also, you have buffed monks skills to make them attractive. it was nice to have wave of light do so much damage because i used it before the buff. But in reality, for PVE, we all use bears. all of us. this should be a flag to buff other skills, or make them better somehow. bears do 236% each. so 708% if all 3 hit one target(WD's know what im taking about, corner attacks)
wave of light now does 900%, rend now does over 900%.
Give me something that out does zombie bears. Make me have such a hard decision that ask myself, "zombie bears or dire bats???" this should be the question. bats needs a buff. I spammed bats from the moment I got them until I hit inferno and had to change to bears.
I will say that i run a spirit build when I farm mp5 or lower. because I spam horrify with stalker, and use grave injustice to just move really really fast with jaunt. but in higher mp's where i farm normally(6-8) its not gonna happen.
also in pvp it owns most things. except ridiculous barbs that hit and run. thats about what it can't handle.
before monster power, i used to have a kite build because inferno was ridiculous. I would use wall of zombies. that skill is no longer something I even think about until now.
I want to say that I really liked this last patch for the simple fact that its the first step AWAY from the AH and RMAH. not having to farm for legendaries so i can sell them so i can buy what i need is a nice feeling.
