because the chance of the rolls u want are sometimes very low and its better to sell it for quick cash than to chance rolling garbage.

Why wouldn't you identify it though? Why would it matter if you identified it rather than someone else?

Personally, I farm to identify items, not to sell them, makes the game more interesting and fun.

because its a 'lotto' pretty much.

it has a high chance of rolling !@#$ rolls which could mean its worth 1 or 5 mil or whatever
it then has a rare chance of rolling crazy awesome which could mean its worth 1bil+ (my gold examples just plucked outa thin air)

so people take the 'risk' and pay maybe 30mil for an UNID legendary at that CHANCE that they could hit a 1bil+ item. or they could get a 1mil item and then be lost 29mil.

Interesting, thanks for clarifying. I've mostly had crappy rolls, I don't think I'd take that gamble.

LMAO at unid items. That nonsense should of died with d2. I don't think you can even sell an unid item on the house anyway. Furthermore with how much the stats vary something that is unid would be worth next to nothing.
