Playing Diablo III can be frustrating at times, what with the loot being a little less than satisfactory.
So I was thinking if I should try out WoW. I played it once before BC and quit halfway. I did enjoy the questing but during the initial stages, there were a lot of bugs and the complexity of the game got me thinking that I will not be able to enjoy the game as much as I did with the Diablo franchise.
If I were to start WoW, anyone here's able to show me the ropes?
As for play style, I like being rangers/ranged/stealth or supportive. Like I said, WoW has a different style of gameplay, I might adapt to another class, depending on the gameplay.
The thing is that I'm a big Blizzard fan so if I go MMO, I'd pick WoW.
Anyway, thanks ...
I don't play WoW anymore (like Bilgato, I only play GW2 now) but if you were to roll a Horde character on the Ysera server, I could ask my old guild to invite you. I still talk with the GM and his wife on vent when I get the chance. You won't reach the top of the raiding world with them, but they're friendly and helpful provided you aren't one of those people that demand attention and help constantly.
As for your complexity comment, WoW is the least complex MMO around as far as I know. It's been made even less complex with MoP.
Here's the biggest help I could offer you though. Something I said in another thread about WoW:
First thing to do after installing the game and creating your first character is to exit the game and download this mod.
