Legendaries DO NOT show on minimap.

General This does not occur. I just got some ilvl 62 gloves to drop. I immediately checked both the minimap and main map to look for this icon, and nothing showed up. As I write this, the gloves are still on the ground and HAVE NEVER BEEN PICKED UP (to show that the monster did in fact drop it). |

I noted the same issue. Set wand dropped. Did not show in the minimap or main map.

To me this is actually a big issue. I always have the slightly paranoid feeling that I missed a drop and the addition of this feature was a big deal. Having it end up worse than the current implementation (it at least blips the minimap for a couple seconds in 1.0.6) just makes things harder.

today the same issue with lengendary items. nothing were show on the mini map.
when i drop it out from my caracter inventory it dosen't show anything on the mini map. sorry for my bad english |

Just tried PTR for the first time, was eager to see this new ping. Had a Manticore and Inquisitor drop (d3 thinks I like DH's) and neither pinged on the mini map.

I was also interested in seeing the new icon and to see how long it stayed and the alleged new radius. I went to act 2 normal for this thinking I would be able to walk away from any legendary just to see how far away I could be and still see the ping. As you have all said, it never showed up.
TLDR: Same happened for me. |

That some serious QA right there blizzard...
Tell us more about time consuming implementations of new ideas and testing... you (as a company) cant even do a simple thing like that properly. |

Just had one drop on the new PTR and the icon clearly shows up! Not sure why it wasn't mentioned in the latest patch notes though.
