For instance if the creative team came up to him like "JAY JAY JAY check this out! We are going to have the butcher grab the player then get this... the butcher farts! LOOOL Then makes a joke about it being stinky! LOOOL Then we make a legendary item it's a cleaver and it says "BUTCHERS STINKY FARTS CLEAVER" LOOOOOOL"
To which Jay Wilson should say "No that's retarded and you should feel stupid for even suggesting I allow that in a DIablo game. I may fire you if you don't show me actual progress next week."
Jay's problem was he allowed in too many corny jokes and corny mechanics. That's why people are saying the buck stopped with him because it truly did. NOW that being said a good lead would then see the comunities problems after release, realize the mistakes he made during development, and then work to finish the project the right way. Instead we get the whole "F that loser" debacle followed by this "So long good luck" post.
