Amulet Duping Happening Right Now

(Locked)

Where is the proof that they are identical stats? Where is that screen shot?

And for what percentage of the player population is 300mil cheap?

Heres a crazy idea, why don't you look on the AH right now? They are all there right now.

LMAO, coming in this post and flaming without even bothering to check it yourself. Cmon
Liked and requested sticky.

how about move your fingers and check ah urself?

I don't think you have gone past elementary school math

He dont need to move no fingers, because obviously there has never been any sort of dupe in D3, its like the gems a little while back. It was just something we imagined.
and three of them was listed at the same time and three others one hour apart from the original 3
I would buy it for 300M if, 1, I have 300M, 2, it's not duped.

There are a grand total of 14 trifecta tal rasha's amulets for sale on the AH. 7 of those have identical stats. You honestly don't think that's suspicious?

Some people haven't heard of math yet. Let alone taken a high-school level statistics course.

To these people they are convinced the odds are not small.

odds of having 1 identical (without even knowing the number of possible affixes:

1/30,030,000 * (1/naffixes) * (1/(naffixes-1))

1/110 int
1/91 vit
1/5 cd
1/6 * 1/2 %dmg
+1 magic
> subset how ever many different possible
>then * 1/10 (cc roll)
+1 magic
> subset how ever many different possible (-1)
>then * 1/5 (ias)

If 300 mil is cheap then go buy it and try to sell for 700 mil already? Your the noob you can't see the opportunity....

I am not gonna buy obvious dupe. Some people bought dupe and they vanish from your inventory when bliz fix it.

I don't think your message will ever get to those guys.
The chances of any legendary having the exact same stats as another one are so low, you have to be suspicious if it happens...but for there to be several exact copies of the same item, the simplest answer tends to be the right one.

I agree we at least need a CM to acknowledge that they're looking into what's going on.

How could that be legal? Say I buy 300m gold on RMAH, turn around and buy that amulet on their GAH, and they just delete it shortly after? No way that's legal. They !@#$ed up letting it appear on the AH, it's their problem.

Sounds exactly what the duper would say.

If you bought it, you should definitely get to keep your item, but the seller should get the banhammer.

its called Quality Assurance, u cant fix a problem until you know it exists and there will be consequences
When the duping is this obvious I can't help but be suspicious of those that try to deflect the severity of it.

It's either that or the "defenders" are so ignorant that it'd be more of an insult to give them the benefit of the doubt that they aren't duping. Better a cheater than a fool.

Say they only duped one. I buy it in good faith of the GAH, not knowing it was a duped item. They just delete it. Is that legal?

Maybe the stats are a fluke? But not the durability of 39. No way you get the same durability that many times.

more than likely you would get a refund, but that is not illegal, all items on diablo 3 are property of blizzard, not you

Not sure what you mean legal. Some ppl bid on gg dupe items and never got their gold back. I don't know what happened after they contacted support. 300m is $75, good luck suing bliz for an amount that small.

You will never get a CM response. Just remember that Blizzard snubbed us and speak with your wallet when the expansion comes out.
