Demon Hunters can dual wield hand crossbows.

Wizards and Witch Doctors don't dual wield because that would be silly.

DHs can, with hand xbows.
And come on, they are trying to make the classes a little more diverse.. making everyone able to equip the same thing would be bad.

wiz should be able to dual wield wands, wd should dual wield ceremonial knives

wiz should be able to dual wield wands,

A powerful wiz does not wield 2 wands at the same time. At least not Harry Potter or Voldemort.

WD's should be able to double ceremonial knife

i mean, that's less weird than carrying around a dead chicken/dead toad/dead snake/petrified head

it also limits our dps

Actually the only change needed is to make the effect of gem in the off-hand follow weapons (ie 100% CD) rather than armor (ie some crappy amount of primary stat)

The better change would to be change emeralds in weapons (and topaz as well).

But... since that won't happen, this is the next best suggestion.

Have you ever see Harry Potter dual wield dual wand? No right, that's why.

The off hands they get a pretty durn good. Check D3progress. Top scores are dominated by Wizards>DH>WD in that order. How about, why dont barbs and monks have a class related off hand?
