I would live in development hell, and flog everyone until WoW-elements are removed and the game becomes more like d2 with respect to complexity and breadth in mechanics, itemization, character progression, and environment randomization.

Lut Gholein palace with naked succubus as servants and emperor Hakan as shoe cleaner. Maybe Qarth or Harenhall would be suitable too.

The housing market in Sanctuary… well, it leaves a bit to be desired. If it’s not the occasional infestation of roaches you have to worry about, there’s always a chance that a wandering undead or stray demon might want to snuggle up and take shelter in your humble abode. But don’t let that deter you! There are still some cozy spots left in Sanctuary to call your own (and by cozy, we don’t even mean “literally on fire”). Have you checked out the views surrounding Caldeum? What about renting an exotic little hut in the Dahlgur Oasis? We hear the Fallen there throw some wicked parties.

So in this week's community question, we wanted to ask you: If you lived in Sanctuary, what city, village, or zone would you call home? Where would you live? How would you deal with the locals, and the “pests”?

I'd live in Southern Highlands, near Highlands Crossing. I'd welcome all locals especially if they're merchants, and I'd let my followers (which I hope would stay in my house) deal with the pests.

If this isn't just free thinking, and if this is actually a step towards player housing, I would be stoked.

Any little hut away from the sewers by the Caldeum Bazaar would be pretty darn awesome. I enjoy some hookah once in a while, and all those exotic stands in the center of town (and indoors) just call to me for some quality chillout sessions with the townies.

Perhaps I could try and tame a Dune Thresher so I can have easier locomotive options when traversing through the drier areas. They might make decent pets, who knows. At least they can be the equivalent of watchdogs?

I heard town is relatively safe after Belial disappeared, so I'm sure he took the Fallen with him (maybe?). The Lacuni should be settled down as well since the demons shouldn't be around to mess with them. I only worry about those wasps. Could use some extra-large, extra-thick, extra-sticky flypaper.

These are awesome!

I think I would live in the Fowl Lair and jump out of the entrance anytime someone opened it from the outside. I would then kill the unsuspecting heros who thought they had just found the last surprise in a long line of steps to become a renowned achievement hunter only to fall, dead, just paces from the entrance.

If not there then at the great bastion of the templar's order. It stands astride westmarch. It has been besieged, and yes, it has fallen, but never for long. Alas, it is only defeat if you surrender and by the templar faith, they will rebuild a thousand times, but they will never give in.
