Hi I wan't to make a tempest rush monk. I shal be using the one with everything. Is any one element better than the other?

While I read through/dig through this can anyone answer my initial question?

phys and fire are useful for tr if u dont use owe, but they are also the most expensive, i think the rest of the single passives are equally cheap but poison has the benefit of being able to use andy visage (but u take on more fire dmg b/c of that)

Do these resistances stack with your damage or benefit attacking in any way? Like say if I were to use a lightening stone of jordan ring would building lighting resist with one with anything synergise with that damage?

nope res is only for defense. The added elemental % DMG you see on gear is only there for looks, when you use a physical attack. Since you're a TR monk don't worry about what type of elemental dmg your SoJ has

Use Cold res. Its the cheapest.

If you plan on dropping OWE later get Phys or Fire res (those are much more expensive though since they are good for any class)

no!!!! stay away from cold res!! they're alll mine!

y is cold resist the cheapest? wouldnt poison be just as cheap, as well as arcane since there is only one elite affix for each of those dmg types?
