then try this-

Step 1...Overclock the pc....
step 2.... open ur documents go into d3 go into d3 preferences and chance ur hardware class to 1
step 3....ingame lower all ur video settings to the bare minimal(i play in windowed mode as well)
step 4...the one that made the BIGGEST DIFFERENCE in this laptop the video card has its own cooling port located near the front right of the pc(if its on ur desk facing you) if u have a cooling fan PUT IT RIGHT OVER THAT PORT get as much cold air into it as possible

my framerate usually sits between 120-180 fps my frames would crater to somewhere between 1 and 8

after doing all this trouble shooting and the 4 steps above i have not seen a single framerate drop since

i hope this helps all you people who are seeing this crappy problem since 1.6 like me

I just made this change and the diference was huge! A lot better game play... So? What risks does this implicate?

blizzard linked me my own post in a email to go find a possible fix for my frame rate issues in game directly related to excessive cps usage....how ironic!
