I'm smelling a lot of "if" there...

BTW:
1 Thing Right: 382 posts and counting (not including this one, natch).
1 Thing Wrong: 475 posts and counting.

Not exactly scientific, but it looks like folks see more wrong than right with D3...
Skill effects just look and feel powerful.

individual loot.. by far the best feature ..ninjas are the worst
The only thing the development did right was take construction criticism in the right manner.F that loser, all class.

Enemies to destroy. Every one I kill feels like a triumph more than the other Diablos.
they did a lot of things right

kept me playing for 363 hours 23 minutes and counting...
relatively fluid combat....that's about it
Graphics. It frustrates me to hell but its a pretty game.

I'm constantly thinking the artists were the only ones working in the past 12 years...

highlight legendary drops with that light beam thing
Convenience ... which is to say mostly the things that the people in these forums tend to say they hate.

  • No useless stat points that really only prevent me from equipping items
  • An auction house so I don't have to waste hours waiting around in trade games or be a member of some third-party trade forum
  • No skill points and endless respecing so I can play around with builds without rerolling or farming respec items/points
  • Auto gold pickup
  • Individual loot in multiplayer
  • The ease of joining friends' and public games, particularly not caring that I haven't completed all the individual quest steps leading up to the specific point the game is at
  • An inventory system that doesn't require micromanagement
  • Making potions an emergency thing and not a core mechanic
  • Health globes (also neat that they factor into certain builds)
  • Mobs being easily distinguishable from environments and often extremely large and easy to target (didn't really realize this until after playing Torchlight 2 and PoE)

I don't think this game is perfect, but I certainly don't think it deserves the trolling that goes on in these forums.
fun
best thing in d3 by far is how long it takes to release a patch
Addiction
good graphics
making a horrible storyline
