Diablo® III

Is trade window safe these days ?

I've never used it, but remember there were some exploits.
If you do not do anything silly, like dropping items on ground is it completely scam proof now ?
So if I just make sure there are enough zeros in the amount entered by the buyer, check that his Accept is highlighted, then press my Accept, anything else to look for ?

It was always safe but you just have to make sure that you double check everything and never trust anybody that you have just met for a trade because as sad as it is blizzard wont do anything to scammers so always becareful and make sure to double check when doing in game window trades.

I am sure it wasn't, there were some script exploits, that were fixed in one of the later patches. Lots of threads on this back in the past.

Also is there a gold amount limit for the trade window ?
