The Witcher 3 open world

So they confirmed it's going open world.I really hope they do what very few RPG's do,combine a open world RPG with a rich narrative.What's your thoughts?

If it's done well and if they keep it solo, it could be as awesome as an old school Morrowind or Baldur's gate.
The Witcher lore can be very rich and complex if developped well, if they add an open permanent world to that (instead of linear path like they did since now), that will be awesome. |

I just hope the narrative remains at the forefront of the game.I don't want to see is another shallow Skyrim experience.The developers said if one does not follow the story line there will be repercussions further down the track which is good.
