I haven't heard of any reports like this. When the game is in Windowed (Fullscreen), it uses the Desktop gamma. Fullscreen mode is when you configure the game's gamma.

Can you post your system specs so we can see what kind of setup you are running?

    1. Launch Diablo III.
    2. Put Diablo III into Windowed Mode if it is not already in Windowed Mode.
    3. From the system menu bar, select Help > Copy Support Information: http://i49.tinypic.com/33njnzn.png
    4. Paste the contents of the copied system information here (Command-V)

easy fix to this is to open System Preferences after the game is open and go to "Displays". This should trigger a reset of the desktop's gamma settings. I am working on a small app that will just do this automatically but it isn't ready for release yet.

somehow it seems fine now after i've adjusted the gamma to a lower setting on fullscreen mode and switched back to windowed fullscreen so i can shift between apps, not too sure if adjusting fullscreen gamma affects the setting on windowed fullscreen though. seems like when i open the game the gamma contrast screws up all over again, will test it again after i restart my com tomorrow and confirm whether the problem still exists after my last gamma adjustment. thanks!
