Diablo® III

Crafting Works. Thanks for the 14k upgrade Blizzard !!

the problem with the amulet as godly as it might be, it ads NO defence. Its an pure DPS item. Good when you have the room. But if your current amulet has around 70 Al restiance then its a really hard choice here.

Still, nice crafting luck here. No doubt.

I shifted all my AR away from ammy for this very reason..

I can't believe people are still complaining. You have an opportunity to get 100+ mil items for waaaaay cheaper. Just an option IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE IT. And people still complain.

Amazing.

You mean if 1 million people all enter a single lottery 1 of them is going to eventually win big ... no way ... i dont believe it.

Over $100,000 usd in materials and gold has gone into crafting items that no longer have any value.

Spending real money on virtual items in a video game that will be obsolete eventually and trying to pin a value on said items is probably not the best way to look at it.

You should see how many US dollars go into gambling in Las Vegas, it's staggering... huge number of people leaving the casino with no value for their money.

People complain because how many of us will sink tons into crafting and get !@#$ in return. One person posting a nice piece he got ON HIS 12TH TRY doesn't mean much. Some people have found 1 bil valued set items on their first kill of a run. Does that mean it's there for everyone? I guarantee people will sink fortunes into crafting and end up with nothing to show for it.

Crafting is going to be just like loot farming.. so full of RNG comparable to farming that it's just another means to the same end. Band-aid fix to a broken-assed itemization and loot system, but if it generates any happy posts then mission accomplished from Blizzard's standpoint.

TLDR: Crafting was added because it's an easy slap on, vice actually fixing itemization.

This is what makes the game fun. If everyone can craft, or find the BIS items in the first day, then everyone cries that they can't find an upgrade, itemization is broken and they are taking ball and going home.

If you don't like your chances THEN DON'T CRAFT. Nobody is forcing you to. In fact, AH prices should slip due to introduction of more high-end items into economy. You are going to benefit from this no matter what and you are upset. /boggle

Nice.

I did 24 crafts just now and got a neck with:

124 dex
267 int
Melee attackers take 2k+ dmg per hit
75% CD
7.5% CC
Socket

Not bad for ~3m?

LOL. This is kinda like posting a pic of a godly amulet drop and saying "Look! Looting works!"

RNG is RNG.

When you get that godly amulet that dropped, looting DID work... That's what's supposed to happen, every once in a great great while, someone gets a godly drop. That's what makes them godly. If everyone had one, it'd be average.
