An offhand item capable of being equipped by all classes the Satchel. The satchel will double your inventory but come with no added benefits. If you want your can even make this a craft only account bound item

how about, you can transfer 1 stats to another legendary item of the same kind... or average them...ex: 100str on sacrified ef + 0str on host ef = 50str on host ef?

or

a shield that stun or repel enemies if being attacked, or creates doppelganger which run around attacking monster that looks like barbarian ancient.
i didnt use shield if there;s one like this it would be awesome

or

legendary JEWEL's that does something else other than adding stat

I know with complete confidence that everyone here absolutely despises fallen maniacs. Wouldn't it be lovely if there was a legendary item that could turn those tables around? I think so. How about a legendary that has a chance to spawn fallen maniacs that fight for you. Imagine how epic it would be seeing 5 of those little buggers crawl out of the ground and launch themselves maniacally at the enemy. This would be awesome!

IDEA TO GET SHIELDS BACK TO EFFECTIVE CHOICE

every critical hit have 15-30% chance to cast frost aura that deals 5% of enemy's hp per second
2 random stats [here you want to roll life steal or crit dmg + as] :D
but it's too many items like this one here

Based on all the input in this thread perhaps Blizz can design 5 Legs for each class and a universal Vit Legs creating 6 categories for a total of 30 Legs. Then the community votes which one they would like to add for each category for a total of 6 new legs. Than perhaps the winner of each category or top 2 of each can make it into the game in a future patch.

The idea is this--get rid of the scarce drop rate that came with 1.07 patch. used to get at least 2 per hour. Now do an 6 to 8 hour worth of runs and lucky to get 1 or 2. Bad enough that they are all garbage but not getting any garbage is still better that getting nothing. Drop rates and quality of drops has been an ongoing problem since the beginning of this game and has only gotten worse as the patches and Tuesday repairs just keep coming with no end in sight. After over 1 million kills I am still waiting for the first item that is good enough to put on my character. Everything I have is from the auction house.

I won't go into descriptive item details, but there definitely needs to be some of the following additions to items, either on an item or as a set bonus:

Cannot Be Frozen

Immune to A Spell Type (Fire, Cold, Poison, Arcane, Lightning, Physical, Holy)

Immune to Control Impairing Effects

Armor increased by XY%

Arcane Power increased by 20-50. This goes for all other Character Resource types.

There needs to be some immunities so that stacking All Resistance isn't the only viable stat needed on a piece of armor. Why not start with some of the amazing bonuses from items, rune words, set bonuses, etc, from Diablo II?

The template for the daibo was Inna's Reach and the template for the fist weapon was The Fist of Az'Turrasq. I really think these are some great ideas for items, not only because they're mine, but because they can really change your build. The daibo can be a good competitor for Skorn, for monks only, but still. And the spirit reduction of it can be used for anything, most likely Wave of Light, but also viably for Cyclone Strike, Lashing Tail Kick, Sweeping Wind, or mantras even.
The fist weapon on the other hand can help improve build diversity. By allowing the chance for serenity to be activated for free (sort of like The Burning Axe of Sankis' Ignore Pain proc) it could allow for the player to remove the skill from their action bar, and then have another skill put in place without the player feeling like they're going to die all the time.

While I absolutely love the creativity on this, the implications of changing currency systems (not to mention the AH) makes my brain explode. : p

well I would like to see some epic legendary 2h scythes or 1h sickles like on lower difficulties anyway imagine a barb with cool designed 2h scythe swinging around ;)
also some new weapon designs for monk ( and maybe all other chars ;D )
1 new good looking legendary set and also green set for every char.
so I am talking only about new designed items i think d3 needs that.

the devs would add/modify/remove as needed

---The idea here is to add flavor to the game by making it more unpredictable. The overpowered effects are negated by the ones that might get you killed. Players might equip this if they are just bored, feel too underpowered, or if they want to make the game harder.
