Damage comparion on The Witching Hour 8% vs 9%

For one belt that has 8% attack speed and 50%CD, how much CD does another 9% AS belt needs to have to have a roughtly same amount of damage?

Yes it would be situational, but it would be great sharing it from your experience.

It depends on the other bonus of AS, CD and CC you have.

With 40% AS gaining 1% will add 0.71 % to your DPS.
With 20% AS gaining 1% will add 0.83% to your DPS.

With 40% CC and 400% DC gaining 10% DC will add 1.67% to your DPS
With 20% CC and 400% DC gaining 10% DC will add 1.11% to your DPS
With 40% CC and 200% DC gaining 10% DC will add 2.22% to your DPS

It's hard to say without more data.

Thanks for everyone replied.

It's that I saw 2 belts with the following stats ending about same time in AH, and I was not sure which one to get, personnally I preferred the 9% one. But then I saw the 9% one is 3 times pricer than the 8% one just 2 minutes before the end time, so I just picked the 8% one since I am poor.. The 8% gives me +11.5k dps comparing to my 155Dex ex-belt for my current monk.

[80Dex, 9%AS, 45%CD, 213Armor]
[89Dex, 8%AS, 50%CD]

Later I compare the 8% belt with other 9% belt in AH, I found,
[60Dex, 9%AS, 41%CD], it's -2095 dps
[80Dex, 9%AS, 48%CD], it's +25 dps

FYI if interested.
