WD Carnage Build & Clip on MP10

Idea is to build your own emp i.e efficient mana points and go All in with AoE dmg and buffs.

Bears: 708% AoE dmg
Harvest: 230% AoE dmg
Sacrifice: 825% AoE dmg

Buffs:

Harvest
Feast
Provoke the pack
Paranoia
Slam dance
Hysteria for solo play (Follower scoundrel)

That´s about 160% increase to dps with pure dmg + 20% ias.

CoL,Feast and GI are the most powerful passives for WD and all require pickup radius, 10-14 yards is optimal imo.

Build is very simple, nuke everything.

On higher MP levels raindance also works with this build.

I started this as a mid mp build when I was around lv 70´ish. Only had lifelink instead of voodoo. Never was a fan of mp0-1 xp running and wanted to get the best effiency ratio for loot&xp while having a good time.

I use lifelink when farming essences solo on mp7-8. Get to detonate dogs more and when you´ve a lonely dog with you, that 10% DR is nice. Been testing final gift too but that 15% chance just doesen´t cut it. Need a dogtor spamming it every 0.4 sec.

This is a very fun build, my favourite and it doesen´t require expensive gear. Everyone just needs to find the best MP level for themself.

I use almost exactly the same build. I just switch out paranoia for summon dogs, and CoL for BR. I find GI allows me to have the dogs summoned (for 10% damage mitigation) while also maintaining the +15% damage from provoke the pack.

Great build, and very impressive gear!

Edit: The current build in my profile shows a very similar build, but I was using PtV instead of CoL. I was playing multiplayer with a zd wd, so I basically had infinite mana.

I want to bring up some points about this build:

1. It scales with your damage since everything is percentage based
2. Mana is only a problem if your on an MP that your damage can't handle
3. All the skills/passives flow well with each other
4. Crowd Control=Faster bear killing
5. Still provides a meat shield dog wall that is only blown up when needed
6. Attack Speed is no longer a problem (if it causes a mana issue then your damage is not high enough)
7. Since it scales with damage you can use this build from MP0 to MP10
8. Great for playing solo and in group play

I could say more but with a little PuR and some minus to bears gear this build is working great for me. Maybe we could come up with MP break points based on damage. Break points would be damage needed to successfully do X MP level solo and not have a mana issue.

Edit: Fully buffed I go from 189k to almost 600k paper....that is not including my 35% to Elites and 20% from MC.

Nice, thx for sharing. I tested that setup and it works too. No mana issues but at the cost of paranoia and CoL. I´m fond of CoL, you get to detonate the dogs a lot :D

Maybe we could come up with MP break points based on damage. Break points would be damage needed to successfully do X MP level solo and not have a mana issue.
Around 100k unbuffed for MP5 and around 190k unbuffed for MP10 with full zuni + 2 -cost to bears pieces + manaregen on mojo. You seem to know your way around so go knock yourself out with proper testing ^^

Not at all. Nicely done.

I was playing with a mate earlier and we used the same build. Slam&Jinx with Paraoia&Grasp. I captured a few of those runs, this one had rumble. Pretty brutal stuff, viewer discretion is advised.

I´m glad you like it. It sure is fun, that´s why I posted.

I forgot to mention that I use hysteria with scoundrel, that´s an additional 10% dmg for every 2 seconds, stacks up nicely with all the other buffs.

Here is the build with 2-handed and only using 2 ias items, 1.18 aps:

Gearing 2h for this is really simple, all you need is:

-Zuni set
-SoJ

Aps between 1.18-1.36, I recommend testing the right aps for you. 1.36 will cause mana problems for sure.

When I swapped to 2h I lost 20k sheet dps but as you can see from the video I`m doing almost double dmg and average clearing speed is better.
