identifying rare/legendary

Anyone know a faster way to identify rares/legendaries? Clicking one by one is just too time consuming.

Eat an M&M after each click. Time will pass faster.

Hire a maid to do it for you.

Or fill up ur inventory with unid. then hire a part time maid to do it for you!

It's called "Identify All" a feature found in Diablo 2 which Blizzard ignored until the complaints from fans changed their minds.

ID all will be added in 1.08, finally. Not sure why they thought it's best not to have it for so long, but eh, at least we'll have it then.

Because Identify All would spoil the whole "unwrapping a present" philosophy that Blizzard loves. Guess they didn't the problem that not every "present" is going to be appreciated.

Currently the only way to identify your items is by clicking them one at a time. Our next content patch will be introducing the ID all feature. The decision was made that while maintaining that sense of opening presents is valuable, even with ID all players will still go through the process of evaluating the items in their bag one by one and that's effectively the same way to get the sense of excitement without forcing players to spend 2 minutes to identify a bag of items one by one.

was there not sometimes Rain in act1 in Diablo2? I swear The weather changed in some of the acts, like act 3 and 1. No clue though. Might be a different game.

Will ID All identify these UNID items all at once, or does it just do them one after another, merely eliminating the individual clicks?

Will there still be a two second wait/progress bar? No big deal if all the IDing is done in parallel. Still annoying if items are ID'd in serial.

Travis, will the cast bar's timer length be based on the highest rarity in your bag (Legendary vs. Rare), or is it a fixed timer length set at a nominal (hopefully less than five second) cast time?

Travis here's a idea probably for an expansion.
Since the acts feel played out before the new game comes. Consider a Dynamic weather for each existing act. With possibly day and night cycles.


I always hated the night cycle but you could always have an option to turn it off in the settings.
