The Horadric Knight Class
This is the new class for Diablo 3 the Horadric Knight. The Horadric Knight were once mage apprentices that fail to become full mages or were exiled from their mage orders. They were recruited by the Horadrim as knight to protect and serve their Horadric masters to fight the forces of evil. After the fall of the Horadrim the Horadric knights died out. Year later the power of a fallen star awakens the dead of New Tristram and in a crypt far away awakens a Horadric knight long dead and who now hears the call of the last Horadric master, Deckard Cain.
The Horadric knight wields the power of the horadric arts every time the player is struck by an enemy blow the arts absorb 15% of the damage per 10 points. The Horadric knight can transfigure themselves into other beings to give them strength. The main arsenal the character wields is one handed weapons and shield, or their own shield type known as tombstones.

Primary Skills:

Strike/Guard – The character strikes at an enemy with 350% Weapon Damage. The following strike is replaced with a guard mode that blocks with 185% shield defense. Guard mode deactivate with movement or a following attack.
• Rune 1 – Mirror Guard: While in guard mode, reflects 50% damage done by monster.
• Rune 2 – Parry: Monster that strikes guard mode has a 30% chance of receiving a critical hit of 2 seconds.
• Rune 3 – Phalanx: Guard mode is now active while attack.
• Rune 4 – Increased attack speed by 20%
• Rune 5 – 2.00% of damage added to life.

Mirror Strike – When character attacks a monster and two other attacks strike at least two other monsters around player or the same monster at same time, each dealing 120% weapon damage.
• Rune 1 – Adds two additional strikes.
• Rune 2 – When attacking only one monster stuns 30% for 2 seconds.
• Rune 3 – When attacking at least three monsters 2.00% of damage added to life.
• Rune 4 – Increase Arts generation.
• Rune 5 – Critical hits cause 50% WD explosion.

Zeal – Character strikes with 110% WD and each strike increased attack speed 5%, max stack 4.
• Rune 1 – Max stack 7
• Rune 2 – Bleeding 15% WD for 4 seconds.
• Rune 3 – Increase Arts generation.
• Rune 4 – Damage increase 10% per stack.
• Rune 5 – Movement speed increase.

Blessed Hammer – Attack with a magic hammer with 200% weapon damage and range of 8.
• Rune 1 – Multiple bolts +3 strike other monsters
• Rune 2 – Damage 270%
• Rune 3 – Critical hits chance 20%
• Rune 4 – Knock back chance 20%
• Rune 5 – Slows Movement 40% for 6 seconds

Secondary Skills:

Guard Counter – Stands in a ready mode and every enemy strike is reflected 75% with 250% WD to the target monster, max character life. (8 arts per second active)
• Rune 1 – 300% WD
• Rune 2 – 20% WD explosion per player counter
• Rune 3 – Skill cost reduced to 5
• Rune 4 – strike two targets
• Rune 5 – 4.00% of damage added to life

Vengeance – Deal 165% magic damage per strike adding stack, each strike deals 15% WD per stack, max 5 stacks. Base attacks results in magic explosion deal 75% WD & 3 range per stack. (10 arts per strike)
• Rune 1 – Fire explosion, Max stacks 7
• Rune 2 – Ice explosion, Slow 20% per stack
• Rune 3 – Lighting, Strikes deal 25% WD per stack
• Rune 4 – Holy explosion, 5% max life steal per stack
• Rune 5 – Physical explosion, 5 range per stack

Joust – Charge to enemy position with 200% WD (12 arts per cast)
• Rune 1 – Increase distance traveled
• Rune 2 – Purify the ground with 65% WD holy power for 6 seconds.
• Rune 3 – knock back at destination
• Rune 4 – 300% WD
• Rune 5 – 9 arts per cast

Smite – Strike enemies around player with shield with 300% shield defense and stuns range 5. (14 arts per cast)
• Rune 1 – Cast multiple bolts +3 striking other monsters
• Rune 2 – Slows Movement 40% for 6 seconds
• Rune 3 – 365% shield defense
• Rune 4 – 100% WD explosion
• Rune 5 – 8.00% of damage added to life

Defensive Skills:
Chain Bind – Binds a single enemy in place for 20 seconds (cool down 20 seconds)
• Rune 1 – Slow attack speed by 15%
• Rune 2 – Another 3 chains grab other monsters reducing distance from main target.
• Rune 3 – Bind two targets (cool down 10 seconds)
• Rune 4 – Burns target with 100% WD per second
• Rune 5 – 40% Damage done to player is transferred to target.

Horadric Covenant – While activated player cannot move Armor increase by 100%. Every 3 seconds while active adds attack damage by 10% and 3% max life regenerated per stack to party, max 10 stacks. Each stack lowers per 5 seconds.
• Rune 1 – Each stack lowers per 7 seconds
• Rune 2 – Stack set at max instantly (50 second cool down)
• Rune 3 – Armor increase 15% per stack.
• Rune 4 – max 12 stacks
• Rune 5 – While active area damage 30% WD

Spirit Bind – Mark a target. Marked target has damage reduced by 13%.
• Rune 1 – Power jumps
• Rune 2 – Mark area
• Rune 3 – reduced by 18
• Rune 4 – Increase source generation
• Rune 5 – Disables one affixes (plague, molten, frozen, or arcane powers from elites)

Imprison – Create a circle that traps multiple monsters diameter 15. (cool down 20 seconds)
• Rune 1 – diameter 25
• Rune 2 – Slows attack speed 5%
• Rune 3 – Burns target with 25% WD per second
• Rune 4 – More damage 20%
• Rune 5 – 1.00% of damage added to life

Transfigurations:
Bone Armor – Take on the form of a bone warrior for120 seconds. Attack speed increased 15% and so long as the player has arts melee attacks are reflected 30%. (35 art)
• Rune 1 – reflect range & magic attacks.
• Rune 2 – 20% attack speed.
• Rune 3 – reflect 60%
• Rune 4 – Swing your weapon in a wide arc to deal damage to all enemies caught in the swing.
• Rune 5 – 50% armor.

Angelic Iron – Be blessed with angelic armor for 120 seconds. Attack damage increased 20% and the arts now absorb 30% damage per 10 arts. (35 art)
• Rune 1 – Attack damage increased 45%
• Rune 2 – The arts now absorb 50% damage per 10 arts
• Rune 3 – 15% chance to knock back
• Rune 4 – Base attacks teleport to target.
• Rune 5 – 100% armor

Phantom Form – Take on the form of a spirit for 120 seconds. All attack has their range increased by 15 and while attacking 40% WD ring appears 10 range around player. (35 art)
• Rune 1 – attack range 20
• Rune 2 – 80% WD ring appears around player
• Rune 3 – Cool downs reduce by 5
• Rune 4 – Dodge chance 15%
• Rune 5 – movement speed increased by 20%

Demon Flesh – Absorb the flesh of fallen demons for 120 seconds. 50% increase in arts regeneration and 2.5% max life regeneration. (35 art)
• Rune 1 – 9 arts and 1% max life per hit
• Rune 2 – 75% increase in arts regeneration
• Rune 3 – Fear chance 15%
• Rune 4 – 4.0% max life regeneration
• Rune 5 – movement speed increased by 35%

Horadric Combat:
Blades – Summon 3 blades that surround you for 120 seconds, each dealing 40% weapon damage to enemies within 11 range of player. (50 arts)
• Rune 1 – Spears, within 16 range of player
• Rune 2 – Hammers, 10% stun
• Rune 3 – Claymores, each dealing 70%
• Rune 4 – Shields, 13% chance to stop attack
• Rune 5 – Daggers, Summon 6 blades

Nova – 300% WD explosion range 12. (70 arts)
• Rune 1 – Range 17
• Rune 2 – 400% WD
• Rune 3 – Three blasts, 100% WD each.
• Rune 4 – Vortex then explode
• Rune 5 – Knock back and stun.

Shield Flail – 190% shield defense range 12. (30 art)
• Rune 1 – 210% shield defense
• Rune 2 – Range 16
• Rune 3 – Bounces off three targets or same target twice.
• Rune 4 – Stuns for 2 seconds.
• Rune 5 – Pulls target.

Enchant Shield – Increase blocking by 30% and defense 25% for 120 seconds. (35 art)
• Rune 1 – Sliver, Blocked attacks blind target.
• Rune 2 – Spike, Blocked attacks and shield attacks deal 50% weapon damage.
• Rune 3 – Gold, Blocked attacks drop 500 gold.
• Rune 4 – Blood, Blocked attacks drop heath globes
• Rune 5 – Bronze, defense 35%

Undying Powers:
Martyrdom – 1200% WD explosion and 1000% WD burn per 7 seconds range 14. (Cool down 100 seconds, max 30% life, & 50 arts)
• Rune 1 – 1500% WD explosion
• Rune 2 – 1500% WD burn per 7 seconds
• Rune 3 – range 19
• Rune 4 – 20% chance of dropping heath globes
• Rune 5 – (No cool down).

Blood Oath – Enchant weapon with blood for 60 seconds. Striking targets with 450% WD. Deactivates below 20% max life. (Cool down 10 seconds, 8% max life per strike)
• Rune 1 – (4% max life)
• Rune 2 – 10% chance of dropping heath globes per strike.
• Rune 3 – If target dies, 300% WD explosion range 7
• Rune 4 – 100% WD burn per 3 seconds
• Rune 5 – Party gets bonus for 10 seconds (no life cost for party)

Sword & Shield Doppelganger – Summon a Warrior that deals 100% WD and a Guardian that taunts enemies with 100% armor. Life of both 90% Max life. (Cool down 60 seconds, 10% max life, & 50 arts)
• Rune 1 – 100% of damage done to Guardian is added to Warrior’s next strike
• Rune 2 – 2.00% of damage done by Warrior is added to life of Guardian & player
• Rune 3 – Guardian obtains vortex.
• Rune 4 – Warrior charge to enemy position with 200% WD
• Rune 5 – Summon two allies that both; deal 50% WD, Taunts enemies, and have 50% armor.

Passive Powers:
01- Horadric arts absorbs 25% more damage.
02- Can wield a two-handed weapon with one hand.
03- 1% life and 1% art per second while Transfigured.
04- Max Horadric arts increased by 20 points.
05- 30 Horadric arts points when picking up health globes.
06- 10 % chance that Undying Powers cost no life when cast.
07- Equipping a Tombstone shields generate 20% more Horadric arts while attacking. Equipping a regular shield grants 15% chance dodging.
08- 15% chance of stopping all damage every 60 seconds.
09- Every Horadric arts points used grants 60 points to life.
10- Swords/Daggers: 15% increased damage, Maces/Axes: 10% Critical Hit Chance, and Polearms/Spears: 10% attack speed.
11- Defensive Skills have a 20% chance to cause fear.
12- Horadric Combat has a 20% chance to taunt.
13- Reduces all Physical damage by 20%.
14- Armor increased by 50% of Strength.
15- Horadric arts point costs reduce by 3.

Based on these other Player requests. I developed an ideal setup on what a new character class should be like. I even included an my own idea on how this character is introduced in the story.
