ET doesn't proc venom? Wow fail whale on that one, blizz.

Yup. Looks like it can't be procced by DoTs or channeling spells with summed up damage ticks (I really need a name for those). I was surprised as well.
Then again, 36 ticks per twister at a 0.125 proc coef. That's 4.5 (stacking) venom effects per twister per target, each doing 15% weapon damage. I guess that would be kinda OP.

PS: Added a minor update with all the suggestions you posted so far.

Very well done and concise summary of most everything wizard related! Awesome job! I'll definitely add this to my collection of useful links.

I think i tried out force armor and this it how it works. tested!

Blizzard says: "Force armor can absorb max 100% of you current hp"
if you have 100k life.
for hits
x<35k, you will loose x life
35k<x<135k, you will loose 35k life
135k<x<200k, you will loose x - 100k life
x>200k. dead.

more likely if damage is suppose to be 100,001 or more , you will die
but if damage is suppose to be 99,999 or less you will only receive 35k damage

no, if you get hit 100001 you wont die. i tried with force armor and UA on belial, UA insta activates, but force armor keeps the life half full

ehm if ua is insta activating it means force armour didnt do its job as ua actually leaves u at around half life when it activates.

I just did a few tests with a Zombie. It's not easy because damage varies, but I think I got it.
Force Armor works for damage up to 100% of your life. Any damage above that will be applied without reduction. That means:

10k life, damage 10k:
-> 10k damage will be reduced to 3.5k damage
--> Total of 3.5k damage

10k life, damage 15k:
-> 10k of the incoming damage will be reduced to 3.5k damage. 5k are not reduced
--> Total of 8.5k damage hit you

10k life, damage 20k:
-> 10k damage will be reduced to 3.5k damage. 10k are not reduced
--> Total of 13.5k damage and you are dead

Not entirely sure. Let's say 90%. Does anyone have any conflicting info?

i'm not sure whether it absorbs 100% or maxes @65% gonna test again.

i mean with ua and force armor seperatly

im also not sure how to calculate if you use diamond skin, but most probably if you get 1shot originally force armor won't activate, but if so ever there's suppose to be at least 1hp left force armor will proc and hp will only be reduced to 35%

no, I just finished testing. It can absorb up to 100% dmg, meaning that 135%life dmg is still 35%. not the 100%

which is

if you have 100k life.
for hits
x<35k, you will loose x life
35k<x<135k, you will loose 35k life
135k<x<200k, you will loose x - 100k life
x>200k. dead.

this is how i understood it worked, basically it prevets oneshots as long as damage < 2x ur ehp

thats right, the calculation is a bit fuzzy though. gonna do more tests. anyone coming in on a brawl to test?

Yes, I think you are right.
Did some forum digging and that's pretty much what people said after the Force Armor nerf. It's all been researched already, just so long ago I didn't remember it correctly.
Thanks for pointing that out Void, I'll update the OP.
