How to raise DH DPS

Ive have done just like u ... i usualy play solo ... so die is bad for eficiency... i got 1mil of EHP and keeping that i slowly raise the DPS ... Im now at 278k DPS and 1.055.682 EHP (diabloprogress)

yea .. its realy expensive... im about 2-3 months w/o upgrade ... but, the tank DH is the best EDPS that u can get for groups of monsters...

DarKLideR ehp is 492k per d3up

Diabloprogress gives very skewed ehp. In any case that is good ehp especially considering you don't use perfectionist. I'm sitting at 396k dps/477k ehp, my goal is to reach 450k dps/450-500k ehp (with archery/perfectionist). Currently I am a super tank so that much ehp is not needed... I just like it.

I've actually recently made a few changes to my DH's gear. Here's my updated d3up profile for any of those that are curious.

http://d3up.com/b/965243

As Silver said before, my previous stats were 207k unbuffed dps, 764k eHP.

I've since gained approximately 40% unbuffed dps (290k), while only losing about 90k eHP (673k unbuffed).

The high eHP / dps route is definitely not a path you want to go down if you aren't willing to commit 100% to your DH, both in finding the proper gear, and spending the required gold / time to craft.. So if you plan on sticking with it long term, although expensive and time consuming, it's an extraordinarily rewarding experience if you get to that point.
