I didnt know people were using sort of build like that. That's why I posted it.
It's not generally used because it's a poopy spec.
That's being a bit harsh. I've seen some regulars use Spectral Blades with Meteor. I think if I had a concern it's the rationale behind some skill choices. The general gist behind the build is not much different than people like dolynick, ChangBooster, or me run. Most of the time, meteor builds are of the following flavors:Skill 1: Meteor Rune (Molten Impact, Meteor Shower, Liquefy, or sometimes Comet and Star Pact)Skill 2: Secondary AP Generator (ie Wicked Wind, Living Lightning, or Spectral Blades)Skill 3: Frost Nova (Deep Freeze or Bone Chill)Skill 4: Diamond Skin (Prism, Diamond Shards, or Crystal Shell)Skill 5: Explosive Blast (Chain Reaction or Unleashed)Skill 6: Armor Spell: Storm Armor (Shocking Aspect or Power of the Storm), Ice Armor (Crystallize or Frozen Storm), and Energy Armor (Pinpoint Barrier, Prismatic Armor and sometimes Energy Tap)
And sometimes you'll see people drop 1-3 skills for utility skills like Teleport (Safe Passage or Wormhole), Magic Weapon (Blood Magic, Conduit,or Electrify), Slow Time (Time Warp), or Familiar (Arcanot or Sparkflint). Largely we all fall under pretty similar pattern, and not surprisingly it's pretty similar to what happens in CM/WW wizard builds.
The OP seems to be following a similar pattern too, but I'm concerned on the rationale behind a few of his choices. If I were trying to make a spec around what the OP was doing, I'd probably go with something like this: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#WPYXhf!gbW!YYYccZ
. I don't really like Energy Tap, but if the OP feels he needs the extra defense to survive RD, I'd rather run Crystallize. And Deep Freeze+Diamond Shards respectively perform much better than Cold Snap+Enduring Skin. :)
