08/27/2013 09:02 AMPosted by DivineCrysisOver a million people payed $60 for this game and they have more than enough money to constantly update the game, even if they decided to not make expansions. The flaws in this game need to be dealt with and should have already been dealt with considering it's been over a year since launch. It is ridiculous when you have to pay more than 100 mil to upgrade a ring that is only slightly better than what you have and to get a significant upgrade would cost around 1 bil. The state of the economy right now is in a very dark state and changes need to be made to address this.

Still haven't spent a dime or flipped anything and I'm still proud of my main character. If you cross that line and defeat the purpose of the game, you might burn out quicker and/or not feel like you've accomplished anything. So yes, it is definitely possible to have fun without the RMAH, it just takes a whole lot more patience.
Also, I'm not sure what the gap of not playing will do to you because the economy is probably way different now. I got in while the gettin' was "good". Now, it could be hard to upgrade your character using only gold that's farmed or from GAH sales. May wanna try hardcore cuz I hear their economy isn't quite so screwed.
08/27/2013 09:27 AMPosted by DivineCrysisI've tried to play hardcore because of that very reason but I couldn't find any public games and I actually want to play with other people in the game for fun and so it's a little easier to make sure my character doesn't die
