Mar 15 Diablo II: Installers, Stand Alone Patches, and Update Troubleshooting Installers If you already own Diablo II, 1.14a installers for Mac and PC can be found here: https://us.battle.net/account/management/download/?show=classic Stand Alone Patches If you already have an older version of the game installed and are having trouble patching, go here for the stand alone patch: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/classic-game-patches Troubleshooting I've just installed, but when I try to play on Battle.net the game says someone else is using my key. We've fixed the key registration bug for the new 1.14a installers. There is nothing wrong with your key if you were receiving that message after a new 1.14 install. Unfortunately, you will need to delete your first install and reinstall from here: https://us.battle.net/account/management/download/?show=classic What if I am receiving errors attempting to patch or cannot complete patching? We recommend downloading and reinstalling with the new installers: https://us.battle.net/account/management/download/?show=classic What if I don't see installers on the page you linked? If you don't own the game, you will not see them there. Go here to purchase: http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/games/d2/ Is there a Mac patch? No, the changes we had to make from legacy OSX to 10.10 and 10.11 support were too great, there is no Mac patch, only the install linked above.Omrakos0 Mar 15
Feb 4, 2014 Welcome to the Classic Games Support Forum Welcome to the Technical Support forum for Blizzard Classic Games. This forum exists to provide our customers with a place to discuss technical issues with each other and Blizzard Tech Support staff members. Blizzard Tech Support staff regularly monitors and replies to this forum (between 7am-8pm Pacific, 7 days a week) and will do their best to assist you with your issue. If you cannot resolve your issue through the forum, we recommend checking our Knowledge Center for resolutions and workarounds for common issues at http://battle.net/support/ and if unable to locate a solution, please go ahead and create a new post regarding your issue using the guidelines below. Please keep all posts on topic. This means technical issues, advice, and discussion of technical issues. When requesting assistance with or discussion an issue, please create your own thread unless a topic for the issue already exists. Do not hijack threads with your new topic. Posting an issue which is similar but different from the original topic means that your request may be missed or the original request ignored. Please post a subject with a clear summary of your issue. Starting posts with "I need help!" or "Can't play no matter what" only serves to make your issue harder to resolve. We understand that emotions can run high while dealing with technical issues, but posting in an abusive or disparaging manner will not be tolerated, and does not advance our goal of providing assistance to the widest audience of customers in this forum. Please do not post direct contact info for other companies. It is acceptable to post links to websites where contact info can be found, but posting the information here on the forum is not permitted. We hope that this forum can continue to be a place where users can find quick resolutions to their issues. To help do this we ask that the Forum Code of Conduct and forum guidelines be observed at all times when contributing to discussions.Omrakos0 Feb 4, 2014

Feb 4, 2014 Temporary Restrictions If you receive the message that you are temporarily restricted or unable to connect, the first step is to attempt to log onto another realm, for instance if you are on USWest (Lordaeron), attempt to log onto USEast (Azeroth). If you cannot access only one realm then you may have a temporary IP restriction. Possible causes for temporary restrictions include: All Games: Spamming text or chat commands such as /friends list or /whisper or /whois (often associated with bots). Rapidly connecting/disconnecting to/from Battle.net - over 50 connections/hour (often associated with bots or switching between characters). Viewing multiple profiles in a very short time period. Exceeding 8 connections to Battle.net (often associated with bots). Repeated use of an incorrect password may lock an account login for your protection. Use of third-party/add-on programs (hacks) - these include but are not limited to sending bad packets, flooding the server(s), and the use of hack programs. Diablo II Only: Scrolling through skill selection using the mouse wheel. Going in and out of accounts/characters too quickly. i.e Muling Going in and out of games too quickly (most common cause). i.e. Muling, magic finding, Baal/Pindleskin runs, etc. Repeated requests for a new screen to see what you wish to gamble for. Going up and down a way point to refresh the screen in a shop (see above). Repeated use of a spell with no cast delay such as Amplify Damage or Glacial Spike. This lasts a maximum of 12 hours. Restrictions lasting longer than 72 hours usually indicates that you were witnessed by a Battle.net representative doing something against the Terms of Use Agreement, which warranted a lengthy restriction. These restrictions will be for connecting to the realm at all. Common causes for extended restrictions include, but are not limited to: Attempting to use an invalid CD-Key (often associated with bots). Excessive spamming or flooding in a channel (often associated with bots). Spamming over multiple channels - even if it is just one line per channel. (often associated with bots). Use of flood or load bots. Harrassment of another player and/or clan. Advertisement of an inappropriate website URL. Use of third-party/add-on programs (hacks) - these include but are not limited to sending bad packets, flooding the server(s), and the use of hack programs. This type of restriction can last up to 2 weeks. Unfortunately, you will have to wait it out or obtain a different IP address from which to play. Please note that we will not provide support for changing your IP address. If you are absolutely certain you did not spam, keep in mind that anyone behind your network, or if your ISP shares your IP address (as in more than one persons are given the same IP address), gets restricted from battle.net, you will suffer the penalties along with them. This is the unfortunate disadvantage of using a shared IP address. Also, keep track of siblings and other people with access to your computer and/or network who play on Battle.net, as they can get you restricted as well. It is also possible that your computer may be infected with a virus that has resulted in the restriction. It is important to realize that these restrictions are not exactly a punishment, but rather that they are necessary for server stability. When you spam, it places a much heavier load on the server and ruins the gameplay experience for everybody. For restrictions other than spam - such as using an invalid CD-Key - you are restricted to prevent abuse - such as stealing someone else's CD-Key via brute-force.Omrakos0 Feb 4, 2014
Feb 4, 2014 Firewalls and hosting games If players are not able to join your game, you may have a firewall in place. Firewalls may prevent incoming networks from reaching your computer and prevent you from hosting games. A firewall can come in many forms. In households, they may exist as security software, router and/or modem. The following information will help you configure your firewall. Ports Ports can be thought of as points of connection. The game listens to these ports to receive all of the information it needs to function. You will need the following ports opened to allow your game to accept connections and to host games: Diablo and Warcraft II Battle.net Edition: Allow port 6112-6119 TCP and UDP out and in Diablo II: Allow port 6112 TCP out and allow established sessions in Allow port 4000 TCP out (realm games) Allow port 4000 TCP out and in (hosting open games only) StarCraft: Allow port 6112 TCP and UDP out and in Warcraft III: Allow port 6112 TCP out and allow established sessions in Allow port 6112 TCP in (hosting custom games) Allow port 6113-6119 TCP out and in (hosting custom games if you have changed the default port in the Options/Gameplay screen) World of Warcraft: Allow port 3724 TCP out and in for Game Allow port 3724 UDP out and in for Voice Chat Blizzard Downloader: Allow port 6881-6999 TCP and UDP out and in Allow port 3724 TCP out and in Allow port 6112 TCP out and in For detailed information about ports and their functions, please visit our support site information on Ports. Software Firewalls You may recognize names such as Norton Internet Security, McAfee Personal Firewall Plus/Express, ZoneAlarm, Sygate, Panda, and many others. These security programs act as firewalls that can block single programs or specific ports from the network. More information on these can be found here. Hardware Firewalls Virtually all routers available today have firewall functions to protect users from outside access. In addition to this, DSL and Cable modems may have firewall functions as well. These links will give you information on how to configure your products. For port numbers and information, please see above. Almost-everything Port Forward: http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm Belkin Networking Support: http://www.belkin.com/support/download.asp?category=9&lang=1&mode= D-Link Port Forwarding: http://support.dlink.com/index.aspx Linksys Port Forwarding: http://kb.linksys.com/Linksys/ukp.aspx?pid=80&app=vw&vw=1&login=1&json=1&docid=d9b27a0c1bb9496d8c22d0d55f875ddf_17241.xml Netgear Port Forwarding: http://kbserver.netgear.com/kb_web_files/N101145.asp USRobotics Support: http://www.usr.com/support/s-main-menu.asp ZyXEL Support: http://kb.zyxel.com/KB/system!index.action List of default usernames and passwords for routers: http://www.phenoelit.de/dpl/dpl.html Notes and exceptions There are a few things to make note of. Warcraft III is the only Blizzard Title that currently supports multiple players hosting games behind NAT. Other games are not able to do this. You may experience high latency with StarCraft, Warcraft II, and Diablo when joining the same game from the same connection. These games were not designed to use a shared connection. If you have recently patched a game and get "Unable to connect", a software firewall may be blocking the game change. Please configure it to allow the changed game. A "universal rule" for a hardware firewall may work for all Blizzard Battle.net games. Forward ports 4000 TCP and 6112-6119 TCP/UDP to your computer. For the Blizzard Downloader, if you have bittorrent set up already just allow port 6112 TCP and 3724 TCP. Port Triggering may work better for you depending on your router. Note that port triggering may fail if there is a second computer playing on the same game/port. Common issues If you did not change your networking equipment and you suddenly are not able to host, your internal IP address may have changed. Check your router's Port Forward section and make sure it is still forwarding information to the right computer.Omrakos0 Feb 4, 2014
Feb 4, 2014 Unable to Validate Version First it is important to understand that there isn't just one reason that will bring about this error. There is one general cause and that is that files are being altered. As for where/when or how, that is varied. These are the reasons for the error thus far: 1. Trojan/virus. 2. Spyware. 3. Bad RAM corrupting the files in memory. 4. Actual Corruption on the hard drive, bad sectors or just a one time corruption that occurred. 5. Packet altering software or security programs. 6. Intensive memory scanning/security programs. 7. General Background applications. Now, I must mention again, what works for one person will not work for all because the error is not always caused by the same thing. Trojans This is number one due to recent Trojan keyloggers that are designed to target Blizzard games and steal password information have become prominent plus it is the most dangerous and should be checked first. It is important not to rely on only one virus/Trojan scanner when scanning for a malicious program. New viruses and Trojans are being created every day that will bypass some security measures in place. It is a constant battle between software security companies such as Symantec (Norton) and McAfee as well as others to find and combat new threats popping up daily. Some good security programs can be found here. Spyware Spyware is a program designed to collect or monitor habits of the users on the computer and report them. It is important to note that spyware, viruses and Trojans are different things that require different scanners to detect. Most virus scanners will not check for spyware. A spyware scanner that has aided in finding and removing these types of malicious programs has been Spybot Search& Destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org/ Bad RAM When the Application version is trying to be determined, the files that have been loaded into RAM are being checked. If those files cannot be recognized it may be due to bad RAM corrupting data in memory to the point where it can no longer be recognized. Running a RAM test should determine if this is the cause of the error. Using the web based one is a good initial start: http://hcidesign.com/memtest/ however downloading that program and running it for 4 hours using a boot up disk is more thorough. Microsoft's Memory Test: http://www.memtest.org/ Hard Drive This error can also be caused by actual corruption of the files on the hard drive, stemming from multiple causes itself. Corruption on the hard-drive can be cause by a variety of factors as well. Malicious programs previously discussed can corrupt files on the hard drive, or actual damage on the hard-drive could be the cause of corruption. Running a scan disk of the entire hard-drive is advised. Packet Shaping Some types of security programs will monitor and alter data that is being sent through a network connection. These types of program are benign in nature but in this level of security also may come side effects. If information that is being sent over a network is being altered in some way, the servers may not be able to recognize it when it reaches them. These types of programs are most prominent in colleges as well as businesses. Consulting the IT staff at these locations may reveal if there is such a program. They are often called "Packet Shapers" as well. Packet Shapers are also employed to give priority to certain types of internet traffic; ie colleges may use them to prioritize educational usage of a campus network while de-prioritizing entertainment usage. Security Blocks Some types of security programs will maintain a constant watch over what is happening in memory as well as make alterations. Like packet altering software, these are designed to help and keep the system more secure, but in that high of a level of security side effects may arise. When the servers try to determine what version of the game is running if the files in memory are being encrypted or altered in the name of security with one of these programs, it will not be able to determine what is there. The servers will not recognize the type of encryption or security measure taken. Background Interference As a general rule, the more that is running on a computer at one time, the higher the chance of something going wrong. In these cases it is best to check with Selective Start-up mode. Selective Start-up will start the computer with only the programs and features that are needed to run the program, effectively blocking anything unnecessary from starting. If this option allows the servers to recognize the game version, then one of the programs that was previously running was causing the error. One of them may have been a virus or Trojan, or the collective running of all the programs at the same time. The system may have had instability introduced when running the quantity of programs, small errors were introduced. Follow these steps to close Background applications.Omrakos0 Feb 4, 2014
Feb 4, 2014 How to receive help in this forum [FAQ] 1. Please do your best to write your problem as clearly as you can. Include as much detail as possible, as too much detail is better than too little. English is preferable, however if you don't speak English well, post in your native language and hopefully one of us will speak it (it also helps if you note that you aren't a native English speaker and note what your native language is so we can run it through online translator programs). 2. Try to be polite. We're not the source of your problem in any way, shape, or form. 3. We ask you questions (even if they may sound silly) for a reason. Please do your best to answer all of our questions, as it will allow us to solve your issue faster. If you need help determining the correct answer, let us know and we'll give you step-by-step instructions. 4. Please don't post your "problem" to multiple threads/forums. It's much easier for us to help you if you keep "your problem", and everything we've tried to fix it in one place so we don't repeat instructions needlessly. Feb 4, 2014 Forum Guidelines Welcome to the Battle.net forums. These forums are here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can discuss ideas, give game play advice, role-play, and converse about any other aspects of Blizzard's games with other players. Community forums are at their best when participants treat their fellow posters with respect and courtesy. Therefore, we ask that you conduct yourself in a civilized manner when participating in these forums. The guidelines and rules listed below explain what behavior is expected of you and what behavior you can expect from other community members. Note that the following guidelines are not exhaustive, and may not address all manner of offensive behavior. As such, the forum moderators shall have full discretion to address any behavior that they feel is inappropriate. Also, suspension or banishment from the game will always result in the same in regard to forum access. Your access to these forums is a “privilege,” and not a “right.” Blizzard Entertainment reserves the right to suspend your access to these forums at any time for reasons that include, but are not necessarily limited to, your failure to abide by these guidelines. We reserve the right to evaluate each incident on a case by case basis. The action we take may be more lenient or more severe than those listed under each category. Code of Conduct: http://us.battle.net/en/community/conduct Please use the search function at the top of the page to find information on a topic before you post a question. Everyone will appreciate it. Additional Forum Guidelines In addition to the Forum Code of Conduct (http://forums.battle.net/forum-coc.html), there are some common courtesy guidelines we ask you please follow. While these do technically fall within the Code of Conduct, they’re intended to clarify specific cases that may be confusing. General Discussion Forums are for discussion of topics directly related to each game The word general can be somewhat misleading, but any General Discussion forum is for threads about the game itself. If you wish to discuss other topics whether it’s polling for real-life statistics, or asking what someone listens to while playing, please post in our Off-Topic Forum. Please note that this includes comparisons with other games. Do not post in all capital letters, use excessive punctuation, etc. This practice is used to draw attention to a post. While everyone wants their posts read, we ask that you refrain from using sensational tactics in order to bring more people to your thread. Let your post stand on its own merit. Using the words Blizzard, Blue, or any community team members name in a thread topic is frowned on Everyone would like Blizzard to read and acknowledge his or her post, and we understand that. However, use of such words in the topic does not help that come to pass. Please make your thread title relevant to the post subject. Posting IBL, IBTL, or its variants constitutes spamming We appreciate that our posters understand the Code of Conduct to the point where they can call whether or not a thread is in violation; however, saying “In before the lock” does not contribute to a constructive community and it does fall under spamming. If you wish to acknowledge a post that violates policy, please report it instead by using the biohazard symbol. Do not bump posts Bumping is posting any non-information for the purpose of raising a thread to the top of the list. Bumping a post is considered spamming and contributes nothing constructive to the discussion. Your thread will be seen; there is no need to continually bump it to the top of the list. Petition posts are frowned on This is a discussion forum. Petition threads do not contain much discussion, instead a petition is usually page after page of /signed. It isn’t constructive. If you have an issue with the game, please discuss it in a civil fashion. There are other places on the Internet to form online petitions. Do not post about locked or deleted threads Posts that are moderated have a reason behind the moderation. We lock before we post on a locked thread to stop the violation in question as soon as possible, so if you have yet to see a comment by a member of the community team on a locked thread, please wait for it and do not post on the subject. If you do have questions regarding forum moderation, please use the appropriate contact e-mail. If you have a post to report or a sticky to request, use the report option under the "Thumb's Down" button or email wowreportedpost@blizzard.com If you’ve found a solution to your issue, or fixed your issue on your own, you can mark your post and the entire thread as [Solved]. Only the creator of the thread (the “OP”, or Original Poster), or a Blizzard Forum Representative can mark a thread as [Solved]. Hover your mouse over the post that solved your issue, and click on the “Mark As Solution” button (it will appear along with the “Reply” and Quote buttons). The post will be tagged with a green “Marked As Solution” banner, and [Solved] will be added to the Title of your thread. Please keep in mind that when a thread and post are declared [Solved], this may only apply to the OP’s particular issue and circumstances, and fits his unique combination of software and hardware. One fix or solution can help many other players, but it probably won’t help all players. If the fix or solution doesn’t help you, it is just one more factor to eliminate in the troubleshooting process, and we’ll try our best to help you narrow it down, to find the solution that applies to your computer, and your circumstances. Please do not post linking to threads you feel should be moderated or stickied. By using the methods we have in place, we can moderate more efficiently.Omrakos1 Feb 4, 2014
6m Cannot Install Diablo 2 LOD on Mac OS 10.11 - "Diablo 2 required" I own both digital copies for D2 and D2LOD, and used their current battle.net installers (from https://eu.battle.net/account/management/classic-games.html) on fresh hardware Here are the steps I followed : - Download and run the Diablo 2 1.14b en-GB installer - Install the game into the default path - Activate the game with the battle.net digital key - Connect to battle.net once in the game to update it to 1.14d - Download and run the Diablo 2 LOD 1.14b en-GB installer I run into a screen telling me that Diablo 2 is required in order to continue : http://imgur.com/a/oieGL This seems like an issue others have encountered. Is there any known fix workaround ? Hardware / OS details : - Mac OSX 10.11.2 - Macbook model : https://support.apple.com/kb/SP715?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_USMrRuru0 6m
25m Can't dowload diablo 2 from battle.net's site. Virus warnings as well. Okey, so i just bought diablo 2 and diablo 2 LOD from battle.net. I have a windows 10. When i klick on the download link on battle.net's web, nothing happens.... I'm just getting all of these" virus warnings". Why is this happening? Is this only a problem for me or have you guys encountered the same issues. Thanks for the replies (Y)OggySexbang1 25m
40m Warcraft 3: Cinematics are black I purchased Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos digital edition. The screen blanks as if to play the cinematics and although I get sound I do not get any video. I have tried: 1) Connecting to battle.net and updating the game. 2) Running the game as administrator. 3) Setting Comparability to Windows XP / Disable Desktop Composition 4) Registering blizzard.ax through the command prompt. This is all the solutions I have found online but none work. I am running Windows 7 through a GeForce 660TiBob112 40m
2h D2:LOD wont install Says "you must install diablo 2 before installing lord destruction.". D2 is installed though. I tried to use the ticket thing to report the problem but it kept not loading after I submitted. I googled the problem but nothing fixed it. I am only able to use the discs to install. my grandma's computer broke(it's her game), she doesn't know the email for her account that she redeemed the cd key on. So I was wondering how I fix it? if anyone could help that would be nice.Awka21 2h
2h Diablo 2 won't open and 'game.exe' won't end process. Okay so I'm about to go insane right now. I just installed Diablo 2 on my laptop last night, and everything works fine. Today, I installed it onto my desktop which has a much better performance level, except when I try to run Diablo 2, absolutely nothing happens. I get the spinning mouse loading wheel thing for literally a split second, and then it disappears and nothing opens as if I never clicked anything. On top of that, when I check my processes in my task manager, "game.exe" is there and when I try to close it I get a message saying "The operation could not be completed. Access denied." Every time I try to open Diablo 2 again, an additional game.exe gets stuck in my processes. Even if I right-click on it from the task manager, none of the options will do anything. Although after trying to launch the game, I do get "Diablo II.exe" and it will close by ending the process, except the client never comes up. I've tried everything it seems. From going to forums, to messing with the compatibility settings in the properties of game.exe and the diablo 2 shortcut. The only way I know of to get rid of the game.exe is to restart my computer, but even that won't make Diablo 2 open. Everything repeats if I try to open it again. I even tried using "svenswrapper" to use the glide setting in the video test program, but still nothing. I have the latest patch too. However, when I installed D2 and LoD on my desktop, I was able to open the game once after the installation screen. If I try to do that now, it doesn't work. Both my laptop and Desktop have the same operating system, which is Windows 7 64-bit. My drivers are all up to date too. It's getting extremely hard to have patience for this. So any advice you guys may be willing to offer, I'm all ears, because I'm on my last nerve with this situation. Thank you.Gregggg15 2h
2h Items Bugged And Vanished. - d2lod Just lost an entire smiter on diablo 2. Died while doing the run, and like an idiot tried to throw on my enigma only to pick up my corpse. Died again, rejoin to only get my enigma through my corpse and all of my other gear is just gone.Aesthetics0 2h
4h Diablo2 IP Bans The year is 2016. The IP bans because of botting is clearly not working in the slightest bit. All you have created is a game that bans the actual people because the server thinks they are the bot programs. I recently started playing again and my main account installed 1.14b perfectly fine. this is my second account i use for giving myself waypoints, i just got the game installed on my laptop and i'm greeted with the message: "The LOD key you installed with has been disabled" http://puu.sh/rkvIh/8bf8caf510.jpg can i get this undone? or at least an explanation? 14h Diablo 2 CD Key change I found out from my ticket last week that since the last time I played the game my original cd key was banned, I don't know why and I don't care. My friend is letting me use his old CD keys and I was wondering if there was a way to change the CD keys I have installed to those he sends me. 21h D2 LOD: Lost CD Key and Account trouble Originally posted this to the ticket system as the site instructed me to do, there really should have been a direct link here as I ended up getting a response via Warcraft in game telling me it should have gone here all along and that the person responding could do nothing... I have my original (physical copy) cd of D2 LOD, but have lost my CD key for it, can I use my digital CD key to install the non digital (CD based) copy of the game, or is there a way to recover my CD key for this CD? I can furnish account names for my D2 accounts (I am also having issues with the passwords for two of them and am having trouble changing the email address connected with D2 as well--is there anything I can do to unlock those accounts as the option to send a new password link, when activated, the recover/change password option for D2 LOD DOES allow me to enter the account name and the email connected to it, but this does nothing as I never get sent a link to change my password, and have tried with 2 separate emails.--looking to get the password or change the password for the accounts "Eclectic" and "Adjunct") as well as my personal information if needed. Any help with this would be very appreciated, one set of characters is probably already expired due to difficulty in getting D2 to reset passwords, but I know from using my barely functioning old PC, that most of my accounts still work ok, is there any way to go into properties on that PC and find the installed CD key there?Adaxus5 21h

1d Wc3: Hanging/Crash at Connecting to Battle.net I'm trying to connect to Battle.net in Warcraft 3. I've installed the latest patch (1.27.0.52242). I'm running this on OSX 10.11.3. When I click on the "Battle.net" button in the main menu, a dialog box pops up that reads "Connecting to Battle.net Initiating connection to Battle.net...". It hangs there for a while. Eventually, if left there long enough (30-40 seconds), the application crashes to desktop. If I hit the "cancel" button, the game freezes up and requires a force quit. This is the first time I've tried to play multiplayer in a long time so I'm not sure who long this issue has been present. The single player campaign seems to work just fine.zenasprime23 1d
1d Help: D2 LOD Account Recovery Hi, May I know if the Diablo 2 Save files in my computer "C" drive can help in the recovery process for my D2 account? My various accounts (main & mule accounts) had expired and most probably purged. I would just like to try, whether if there is any possibile way to recover it. These accounts really meant a lot to me as I have invested a huge amount of my social life time over the past 15 years playing D2 (farming, dueling, etc..). I have been spending time on D3 (PC, but Console mainly) lately. It is really a shame that I have forgotten to carry out periodic schedule to log in to my D2 accounts before they expired and got purged eventually! I appreciated any kind of help that you can render me. Thank you. Best RegardsxXLUBUXx1 1d
1d Temp restriction Hey, So yesterday i wanted to play a bit of D2, so i did, was fun, thanks for asking. Today my char was a bit higher so i did baal runs. Obviously the game was runned by a bot. Well, since i was spammed by bots all time since i started playing yesterday, i though that it was ok. And then i took a break to eat, and then get back to my pc and... tadaaaa... access restricted. Well WTF ? No warning ? Nothing telling you "You shall not join games too fast, you greedy bastard". How the hell was i supposed to guess that i will be soft banned for this ? Can't you put at least a warning ? God dammit, give feedback to legit players so they can avoid these access restrictions. Obviously bots already found solutions to workaround your system... Well now i can play again, was only a 1h restriction (this time?), but my comments are still valid. Please, give feedback before restricting access.Adpist0 1d
1d Just a little help gifting D2 A friend wants D2 for Christmas as she played it during her childhood. I'm happy to buy it for her, but I know classic games no longer show up on the new battle.net launcher. I've read up that she needs a classic battle.net launcher, but I'm just confused. If I gift her diablo 2 what's the process she'll need to go through to access it. I'm pretty sure this is the stupidest question and it'll just show up on her desktop or whatever but I just want to be safe and not disappoint her. Thanks in advance.LazyMattman0 1d

1d Diablo 2 cant connect to battle.net I downloaded and installed diablo 2 a couple weeks ago and could not connect to battle.net. I then went on the forums and got into a live chat with a representative who said there was a 15-day restriction placed on my cd key for some reason. The 15 days passed and I was still unable to connect to battle.net and I;m not sure why. Luckily, I had a backup copy of the game cd and installed using that cd key but I arrived at the same dilemma. What is going on?JonOssim42 1d

2d Compatibility with OS X 10.12 (Sierra) Since installing Sierra, multiplayer has become essentially unplayable. As soon as I hit the tcp/ip button on the other multiplayer screen it starts lagging intensely. Then, if I fight through it and make a game I can run around in town, but as soon as I turn on the map it locks up. Single player works fine. 2d Can't connect to uswest I can't connect to UsWest realm in diablo 2 LOD. I can connect to other realms, but not west. I did try an older cd-key I found in my brothers old games, not sure if it was banned or not, it said it was an invalid key, so I reinstalled using my key and now I can't connect. Was my IP blocked for this and if so how long before I can connect again. Thanks in advance. I probably should have mentioned my account name is bender on USWest realm, sry about that.fatbob1 2d

2d Diablo II Installation Problem I have Diablo 2. I have the hardcopy edition of it, but I registered it onto my account, that way I don't need the disc in my laptop. Now, I only have the choice to download Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, which I do indeed have, but when I download that and run the installer it says I need the original game first, before downloading the DLC. This is a little irritating as there is no client download of the original game. Please help out. Any suggestions or a complete fix would be appreciated.ImperialHP1 2d
