Jul 3, 2012 hardcore character dead due to server crash ...any mercy? Or is the stance on roll backs for HC characters, for any reason other than hacking, absolutely going to be a 'no'? If the answer is no, then I guess HC isn't an option in this game until server stability can be relied upon.Damocles2 Jul 3, 2012

Jul 3, 2012 Motherboard beeps whenever I get bonus XP EVGA P55 FTW Whenever I get any kind of kill/destroy bonus XP, my motherboard beeps. That's all, it just beeps, same as when it's booting up. It's not causing any problems (as far as I can tell). It's just...weird. Never had it happen with any other game and couldn't even begin to guess what's causing it with D3.Swag9 Jul 3, 2012
Jul 3, 2012 nVidia GTS 250 - Driver not responding Hello, Blizzard programmers, please address the problem some nVidia users are seeing. My computer has specs that far surpass the requirements, and I receive the "driver stopped responding..." error of death. I'm using a GTS 250 card, 296.10 drivers (have tried older driver versions as well.) As suggested by other posts: I see no reason to underclock my hardware, nor am I willing to purchase a different card to play one video game (when the card I have now plays every other game I have with no problems, at all.) Yes, I changed performance settings, capped my FPS at different rates, all to no success. You're pissing off a lot of people as this seems rampant on a lot of other threads. This is inexcusable folks, I'm familiar with customer service from a tech support side and programmer side. The lack of official posts from Blizzard which state "we acknowledge this" is not professional, but you're doing a great job by ignoring the posts and frustrating your clientele. Thanks for future assistance.Petersteele38 Jul 3, 2012
Jul 3, 2012 Annual Pass & Diablo 3 -- Account Degraded I've been happily playing Diablo 3 as a full account, after purchasing the WOW Annual Pass, entitling me this. However, today it has capped my characters at 13, as if I have digitally purchased recently, which I have not. It has also degraded my full account down to a Starter Edition, capping at 13 anyway. I've been playing for a decent time and had never had an issue like this previously. Any help or advice would be appreciated.Hellisfer2 Jul 3, 2012
Jul 3, 2012 Can't launch the game Since the last patch I've been unable to launch Diablo 3. I get stuck at one of two places. Here: http://imgur.com/waGQc or here: http://imgur.com/w1UKT I've tried disabling everything via msconfig, and I've reinstalled the game. I've tried running in Windows XP (SP3) compatibility and by giving the launcher as Administrator. I kill Agent.exe and the blizz launcher every time I try to launch a new instance but no matter what I try, I can't find a solution. I tried deleting the Agent folder from C:\ProgramData\Battle.net I know there was a similar thread (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5007220943?page=1) but I've already been doing everything they have suggested. Can anybody please help me? I'd really like to be able to play this game again sometime in the future... Thank-youAlaskaSteve15 Jul 3, 2012

Jul 3, 2012 Constant random crashing Since the game was released I have had this issue where I will randomly crash to desktop and get the error window. Typically I would just call it a random bug/issue restart the game and continue about my business. It wasn't much of an annoyance at the time since I could play for hours and only have it happen once or twice. This all changed around Thursday last week. I can't stay logged into the game for more than 10-20 minutes before this occurs. I have tried everything I can think of with my last ditch of re-installing everything from my OS up which I did earlier today with no effect. Log in 5-10 mins of play crash. Snipit of the crash from my error log: 2012.07.03 00:11:34.247127400 SNOFileOpenForRead(): SNOFileLookup failed for SNO Textures:0x00000023 2012.07.03 00:11:34.271696600 UnhandledExceptionFilter 2012.07.03 00:11:34.553675100 Saved dump file to 'D:\Games\Diablo III\App-0.dmp' ---------------------------------------------- <ERROR-0> ***** UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005) </ERROR-0> It most generally is what appears to be a random texture file causing the crash but occasionally I will see FMOD popup before hand which from my research pointed to sound being the issue. I have tried the suggested fix of running with sound turned off but no luck. I've used old, current, and beta (currently installed) gfx drivers as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can't play the game in this current setting. dxdiag: ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 7/3/2012, 01:13:40 Machine name: THANOS-PC Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.120503-2030) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: System manufacturer System Model: System Product Name BIOS: BIOS Date: 11/17/10 10:08:36 Ver: 08.00.15 Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1100T Processor (6 CPUs), ~3.3GHz Memory: 4096MB RAM Available OS Memory: 4094MB RAM Page File: 2043MB used, 6143MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.01.7601.17514 32bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ Display Tab 1: No problems found. Jul 3, 2012 9800M GTS unable to run Diablo? Hey guys, my roommate can't seem to run Diablo 3 on his system though it seems to be up to par with the sys requirements. Updated drivers for him etc. The game runs smooth for about a min then gets goes completely lagged out for a min or so, then back to smooth, so on and so forth. I almost sounds like his fan internally is doing a siren sort of ordeal, as if it's on low then tries to push to speed up then gives up. Could this be the Video card over heating? Or could another problem be the issue?Dicon8 Jul 3, 2012
Jul 3, 2012 Resolved. There seem to be auto bid bots that have run, on the HC GAH at least, since launch. They counter your bid the second you hit accept so that your bid auto fails, up until they hit a limit set by the owner of the bot. You can tell it's a bot, because you can log out for a couple hours, come back, and it will resume the auto bidding. It also stops at even intervals, liike 40,000, rather than 42500 for example. So which bots can we use, and which ones can't we use? Also, there seems to be no way to reach customer service in game to report a bot, that's why I think they must be allowed. Or is there a way?Battledude20 Jul 3, 2012
Jul 3, 2012 retreiving hero list then crash.....everytime Today I tried to login into the game. After putting in my password and the authenticator, the game crashes and i get this error. This is after the "retrieving hero list" tick. "the application encountered an unexpected error" code - 64CD4052-70F4-4ADD-9EEA-79B4878789BA I reinstalled the game completely and also the video card drivers. After googling this error I have since realised that this error is "account specific". My friend is easily able to login and play on his account "on my computer". But when i try to login into my account on his computer his game crashes with the exact same error. I'm finding it impossible to find a fix. I have found other threads with the same problem and can't find an official response. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Gardenslavegardenslave30 Jul 3, 2012
Jul 3, 2012 New account suspended with good CC? So ive been enjoying the game on my main since release and decided to get another account(for space and to use as a mule). The charge for that item on your order was not finalized. Since we could not fully authorize this item’s purchase, it has now been deactivated." #2 played less then 5 hours and came back today to see im suspended #3 Same card was used as my main account i am still playing. Jul 3, 2012 LAG ... and Boss Fights ... SHAMEFUL! I´m PISSED OFF now ... this is way too much ... the forums have been flooding with negative comments about lag and Diablo III not working from day 1 ... but this is just unbearable ... I can even understand a game having "some lag" eventually and I don´t pretend a perfect service ... only a DECENTLY WORKING one... I had to play Belial more than 10 times to be able to defeat him ... either the lag misplaced my character for a split of a second or a second ... or my damn potions didn´t respond fast enough to heal me before y got %$# by Belial ... I have Starcraft 2 as well, and I can assure you ... this does NOT happen, Blizzard, you know what I´m talking about. In SC2 , if there actually IS some lag ... the game just shows a screen with a timer, and if the lag issue doesn´t resolve in those 60 seconds, the lagging player gets kicked out .... but you never experiment lag WHILE you´re trying to MICRO the hell out of your units ... it just DOESN´T HAPPEN. I think what I´m stating here is preety clear and obvious ... I hope someone at Blizzard takes notice of this and applies some HEAVY changes to these recurrent lag problems , or they create a game "device" to avoid the NEGATIVE RESULTS that Lag itself causes to happen.FacuCbaARG0 Jul 3, 2012
Jul 3, 2012 Missing/lost gold. Just thought I would add myself to the list.... Played Diablo 3 for a while yesterday, logged in today and all my gold was missing; it is completely down to 0. My stash is still intact, but I lost a good 100k. There are 2 players in my social tab that I do not remember playing with, their in game names are ICE and some other IGN in mandarin Chinese. I've noticed this has happened to a lot of Diablo 3 users and it has been a common issue posted on this forums, this bug/glitch should be a TOP priority for Blizzard.YOLO66 Jul 3, 2012

Jul 3, 2012 HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WDF Due to suspicious activity, the Battle.net account XXXXX@XXXXX.XXX has been locked. I just bought this game paid 60 buxs and got !@#$ so pissed right now. I don't even use battle net i bought star craft 2 4 months ago and just bought diablo 3 and got flagged for suspicious activity. I re- authenticated my account but my stupid security question didn't work even though if i know it, could be capitalization or space differently then i typed in. Boobs. Then it gives me the option what is the first 6 digits of my cdkey even though i bought it as a digital copy and i read on forums that you won't get one and it automatically activates your account for play. I'm so lost and need help.Studda0 Jul 3, 2012
Jul 3, 2012 My game play keeps lagging ALL the time. Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 System Model: HP ENVY 14 Notebook PC Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz Memory: 6144MB RAM DirectX Version: DirectX 11 Card name: Radeon (TM) HD 6630M Display Memory: 3800 MB Current Mode: 1600 x 900 (32 bit) (60Hz) I'm not expecting this game to run flawlessly on ultra graphics, but I though it would run smoothly on medium/low graphics. Also I am connected to an ethernet cord so I should be fine in terms of internet connection. Do anyone have an suggestions on how to improve on performance for me? Thanks.Deaninator2 Jul 3, 2012
Jul 3, 2012 Will broken achievements ever be addressed? Many people still have several achievements they finished in the first few days after the game's release showing that they have completed all of the requirements but not rewarding the achievement itself (despite Blizzard supposedly "fixing" this a few patches ago). Apparently, Blizzard customer support acknowledged this as an issue with the achievement server a while back: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5836095636#5 That was two weeks ago, at least. The problem has been around for a month and a half now. What the hell is going on? Why haven't you people fixed this problem already? Are you even trying to fix it anymore? Should we just accept that we will never get the banner rewards associated with the achievements we can't get? I'm fine with having to do all the requirements again, but this issue has gone unaddressed way too long...Scorch0 Jul 3, 2012

Jul 3, 2012 wont launch since patch I was worried that my video card wouldn't be good enough, although it does exceed the min requiremenmts. My brother gave me one of his gift cards so I could try it to make sure it works. I played and I didn't have ANY problems. I even played today with no problems, until the lastest patch finished downloading. Now it will not launch. The window opens, I hit play and I can hear the music but the screen is just black. I am upset that it was fine. I pay for it and then download this fix and now it useless. Please help me with this.Sira1 Jul 3, 2012
Jul 3, 2012 Auction House Currently Unavailable? When I log onto Diablo III, the Auction House button is greyed out, and rolling over it gives me the message that "The Auction House is Currently Unavailable". Now I know this could be due to maintenance or something, but I haven't seen any notices on here, and the "Server Status" page still lists it as being up. I had just finished adding a Paypal to it when it stopped working so I'm wondering if I've screwed something up. Is it just me or is everyone experiencing this issue?Stygma19 Jul 3, 2012
Jul 3, 2012 Stretched Polygon/Artefact - Ati X1950 Pro Hi, I am having some trouble with my current PC configuration, my computer meets the minimum requirement of the game. However, I hardly find myself being able to play at 20 fps (even with everything at lowest, 30 fps maximum in option, lowest res). Furthermore, I OFTEN see stretched polygon, graphical artifact/corruptions. I also sometimes see missing polygon in the level's floor (Like a Triangle where it is possible to see below the stage). My driver is supposed to be up to date since I downloaded and installed the latest driver of the official website. I've checked the temperature of all my computer's hardware and there is no over-heating issue. Graphic card is stable at 50-55 degrees Celsius. Temperature is stable for HDD and Ram as well. Jul 3, 2012 Can't trade or access RM auction house Downloaded the game, can't do what the title says, is this a problem with everyone who downloaded the game or is there a solution I don't know about? I've had the game for about a week too so the 3 day period for the RM auction house isn't a factor. This is some bull!@#$ lol I want a refund and I'll go buy the game if I'll never be able to trade with others or access the RM auction house!DeMiiZe1 Jul 3, 2012

Jul 3, 2012 Swiching Servers Hello everyone, I am new at this new game Diablo III but old school on BattleNET. This is the first time we are having such issues with the US server for a game that just got release a few weeks ago. I do not recall having these type of issues on WOW or even StarCraft. Anyways, I want to know how does one switch server since I fail to find a way to do that? Is there a way which we can select or manually enter the DNS or IP address to switch from US to AP or to EMEA... ? Thank you all for your time and support Good day Regards, PantyologyPantyology1 Jul 3, 2012

Jul 3, 2012 72 hour wait for Buying online. I bought d3 friday afternoon on battle.net. I was not aware of a 72 hour wait to access the full game or i would have drove 5 minutes to the store and bought it there. It has been over 72 hours now and am quite unhappy that i still don't have access to the full game. I wish I could find a number to call you guys but can't. Please fix this.pchappus3 Jul 3, 2012

Jul 3, 2012 Lol at my HC 60 who's probably dead....AGAIN Fed up dying to lag on hardcore over and over again. This will be my 3rd death at 60 if I relog to find myself dead. Wilson, you need to get your s*** straight and figure something out for the hardcore players that keep dying to this. Hardcore will die to this non-sense. If our end lags, fair enough. But when Battle Net goes down or there is a server issue, some counter measures need to be in place for this.Adama30 Jul 3, 2012

Jul 3, 2012 Cant connect to Battle.net website. I live in Taiwan and I have not been able to get on this website (or the Taiwanese one) without a VPN. Without it, I get a: Unable to connect Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at us.battle.net. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. Jul 2, 2012 Agent32.exe still running after exiting Anyone else noticing this? Log out of Diablo III, exit the game, check your Task Manager and its still there. Why are you leaving a program running on our system when your game is not? Patch today yet again broke the launcher - even had a mpq corrupt error, closed out, ran again and it worked - logged in but server maintanence had been extended an hour. Trying to login now after working all day only to have it broken yet again. No error in the D3Debug file.Arifinwe3 Jul 2, 2012
Jul 2, 2012 When I disconnect for any reason I lose Valor Name a reason for disconnecting: Power Outage (specifically Brown Outs) Intermittent Internet Access Blizzard Server Reboots Blizzard Server Issues Windows Update There are many many ways to lose your Battle.net connection, these are a few examples. My complaint here is that I'll be playing a game, say for 30 or 40 minutes building up my Nephalem Valor and suddenly I will lose my connection... Even though, In the vast majority of cases I am able to reconnect in less than 5 minutes, I've lost 30-40 minutes worth of Valor building.. In some cases when I'm playing in particularly difficult areas, It may take me even longer to get my 5 stacks of Valor back.. Put simply, it really sucks when this happens.. I wish someone would do something about it, because it has happened to me on a large number of occasions since the game launched. This isn't just about the Valor, sometimes it has greatly effected my progress in any given quest. I'm certain I can't be the only one having this issue and in many ways it makes the game unplayable.Kernite6 Jul 2, 2012
