Jul 7, 2012 Lost Quest Progression.. 3 TIMES! I have killed Belial on Inferno 3 times now and progressed into Act 3. I believe my first kill was almost 2 weeks ago. However, it seems that this progress is either, not saved. Or reset on the patch. Because I am still unable to start on a fresh new Act 3 from the Change Quest menu. Please advise.Jishbac5 Jul 7, 2012
Jul 7, 2012 Unplayable with this Lag Listen, i've seen people complain and they are dismissed immediately with "OH GARSH! I'm not lagging so it must be you" I've had 2 cable technicians come to my house and check everything and give me a green light for my internet. My speedtest is always around 10mbps (what I pay for) and I can run it 100 times and its always there but In D3 my latency is 2000. EVERY SINGLE TIME I PLAY. Its unplayable. What I need is some info on what the hell is going on and what, if anything, can I do to fix it.Trufax1 Jul 7, 2012

Jul 7, 2012 Watching my friend's account being used. Hello all I am asking for a little assistance because I do not know what to do. My friend is currently in Europe and has no access to diablo 3 however I am texting him because I am currently in a game with "him". His account is clearly being used for botting because I joined his party and his monk has been farming the same run for over 2 hours and the runs last a minute at most. Somehow he got hacked and I already tried to reach blizzard over the phone but no surprise there, all the operators are unavailable. I am trying to mitigate any further damage and him as well as myself are worried for his account. What is the next step to do?theEdge4 Jul 7, 2012

Jul 7, 2012 Ticket Response Time? How long does it take to get another reply on a ticket? I did what the customer service rep asked and its been about 9 hours and no response. It took like 2 and half days to get the first response but there was a holiday. I thought it would be a little quicker after someone looked at it once.justonepuff0 Jul 7, 2012
Jul 7, 2012 Unable to validate core data files error I had this kind of error more than once so I think it's a bug; I'm in Act 2 and when I try to enter in a dungeon with my lvl 20 WD, the game freezes with a popup error window: Diablo III was unable to validate core data files. Game is on a Windows 7 and I-m playing Americas server.skanderbeg8 Jul 7, 2012
Jul 7, 2012 Horrendous FPS - DxDiag Inc - Any Blue ideas? I've been trying to enjoy Diablo 3 but I've been largely unable to past Act 2 because of severe FPS issues. My FPS is all over the place in Act 1 and Act 2, but even moreso in Act 3 and Act 4. I built this machine to play modern games and I'm capable of playing most games, including Battlefield 3, on Ultra settings at a steady 60FPS with very few drops in FPS. The lowest I've seen in BF3 is 46FPS and that was in Caspian Border when I was looking at the entire battlefield from atop the tower. Clearly, I should be able to curb-stomp this game and never experience any performance drop but that's not happening. My FPS, without v-sync, will run from 200FPS all the way to 5FPS, and then anywhere in between. I could have fantastic FPS fighting one pack of mobs, and then have horrible FPS when just running around any of the towns... and then other times, I'll have smooth performance in town and horrendous performance in battle. For what it's worth, I have a greater percentage of time in game with erratic FPS than I do with it being stable. Hell, I'd even settle for a stable 30FPS if it would play at 30FPS at all times. Unfortunately, I just can't find Here is my rig... CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition (Stock Clocks) Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Mobo: M5A99X Evo (1208 BIOS) HDD: Hitachi 1TB SataIII HDD @ 7200RPM GPU: Asus GTX 670 DC2T (1137Mhz Factory Overclock) Ram: Crucial Ballistix 8GB 1333 DDR3 PSU: OCZ 750W ZT Series Case: Antec Three Hundred This computer was a clean build. The BIOS had been flashed with the latest version of the BIOS (as of a few weeks ago), Windows 7 Home 64-bit was cleanly installed on an empty HDD, and all the Nvidia drivers have been installed. I tried each of the 600 compatible series drivers, and I'm currently running the latest 304.48 beta driver. With each driver install, I tried to completely uninstall the previous version, boot to safe mode, run driver cleaner, then reinstall with a 'new installation'. This issue persisted with all drivers. None of the hardware is overclocked past factory settings. My PSU, according to the BIOS, is outputting the right voltages. When gaming, my GPU temperatures have never been higher than 71C, and my CPU stays at 39C. I didn't RMA the card because it plays BF3 flawlessly and D3 is the only problematic game in my small library. I just hope that there is a magic configuration that I can change which will improve my game play. My wife would really like to have me playing with her and, honestly, I think I should be able to. She has an Phenom II X4 820, HD 7850, 650W PSU, 128GB SSD, M5A97 Evo motherboard with 8GB of 1333 Ram... and she get's flawless performance in D3. :[ People just keep saying, "Diablo 3 is a horribly optimized game and you have to wait until Blizzard can fix it." I guess it'd be nice to hear it from Blizzard for once or at least hear when they plan on truly addressing this issue which has been persisting for many players since release. Thanks.Chickenooble7 Jul 7, 2012

Jul 7, 2012 is DarkD3 allowed? I don't like the colour in Diablo 3... I liked how dark Diablo 1/2 were and would like to make them like that. I found DarkD3 and a lot of people recommend it and it looks great. Wondering if I can use it without getting in trouble?LeGoSz10 Jul 7, 2012
Jul 7, 2012 Stuck on loading screen This has happened to me since the release of D3, so it's nothing new. It'll show the 5 diamonds at the bottom just going and going and going and does't stop. Sometimes it lets me in a game but it's extremely laggy and unplayable. (Character doesn't show up on screen for a few minutes, and when it does i cant interact with anything). Any idea how to fix this? It's REALLY annoying to have to alt+f4 the game and restart diablo 3 over and over and over again!Wuzzle14 Jul 7, 2012
Jul 7, 2012 using livestream procaster is illegal? I just runned this program to test it's quality while livestreaming Diablo III and i started wondering if the system would detect it as a hack or something like that due to the GUI inside the game to chat with the users watching the broadcast, show the status of the broadcast and to toggle between camera and game. I don't want my account to get permanently banned or something PD: Sorry for the bad english, but if i won't learn it on school i'll learn it on gamesCladesAffero2 Jul 7, 2012

Jul 6, 2012 Act II and III on Inferno So I was progressing through Act II on Inferno, and my friend wanted some help killing Belial, same difficulty. I left my game, joined his and after a while, we got him down. Moved on to Act III, things were okay. I got a checkpoint, maybe 2, but then I had to go for a while. I logged off, came back some time later, and... I can't access act III on my own anymore. I was maybe 1/4 or 1/3 of the way through Act II when I joined my friend's game and killed Belial, but now the highest quest I an start is "The Scouring of Caldeum". It's kind of nice I guess that I'm able to get through a large part of Act II, but the fact remains I DID kill Belial, I have the achievement. My friend can access Act III all he wants (well, up to where he left off anyway). I'm just wondering why I can't get to Act III without someone taking me there when I should be able.Krelos3 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 So my internet has a tendency to cut out... rather frequently which makes these 5 stack nv runs extremely frustrating for me because most times by the time I actually get a 5 stack my internet cuts out and I am sent back to square 1. Since pretty much every other viable farming method in the game has been nerfed, I am left with very few options. Is there anything I can do to keep the game from crashing when this happens so I can resume with my 5 stack intact once the internet comes back on? ThanksSnowJunkie1 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 Quests not saving? So I finally beat Belial inferno with my under powered barb. I started in Act3 but it was tough, so I ended up farming act1/2 again. When I start to start up act3 again it only shows end of act2 (Lord of Lies) for the quest. Is this a bug? is there a work around?wrath1 Jul 6, 2012

Jul 6, 2012 Can I play on this? I recently got a laptop and would like to try to play Diablo 3 on it, since my desktop's video card is unsupported. Looking at my devices I don't see an actual video card. This is what's listed under Display adaptors - Intel(R) HD Graphics Family. Is it possible to play with that or should I not bother? Any help is really appreciated. Thanks!Jen6 Jul 6, 2012

Jul 6, 2012 Latency and internet connection My situation is this - I am travelling around Europe a lot, and on some occasions there is no internet connection fast enough. So i sometimes use GSM connection to check on emails and such... I can make myself understand the need to be online when playing Diablo 3, the piracy protection and all... But what I don't understand is: if I am playing a SINGLE player game, the latency is there as if I were playing a multiplayer game... as if all the monsters and the game is run on the server far away and not on my computer alone. So when I click or press any button my command has to travel around the world and back so that the information can be processed back on my computer??????????? Why? It is understandable if I were playing a multiplayer game. But a single-player game too??? That makes no sense. Sure, keep the internet connection but keep the "piracy control online status" apart from the game itself. And my question is: Is this issue going to be adressed in the future? Thank you in advance!DoktorJadran0 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 Eternal high ping in Brazil So, I'm from Brazil and I always get high latency from Americas' server. The lowest I've got so far was 240, never lower. The normal is 320, 350. Isn't there a way to get like 110, 100, 50? I play demon hunter and this is killing me, mostly because I have to pop up SS in the moment the monster is about to kill me. 0,2 or 0,3s sometimes is just too much. Any way to lower it? Is this normal? I heard about some programs that lowers ping, like wtfast. Do they work well with Diablo 3?Takanodan1 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 TRADE WINDOW SCAMMING IS OUT OF CONTROL Are you going to do anything about these thousands of new people everyday who's idea of 'playing diablo' now is stealing million dollar items by clearing a 0 before hitting accept? Jul 6, 2012 Graphics issues polygons frequent crashes The game started off running well for me. I have run into the common rubber banding and screen freezes after the 1.02 update. I would like help with that, but my biggest issue arose after I reinstalled windows. I replaced my HD, and also reapplied thermal paste and cleaned my fan to solve a serious overheating issue. Since then I reinstalled windows, and Diablo 3 along with all drivers. Basically I started from scratch I did not transfer anything, not even files. Now I have massive Graphic display issues. Polygons, missing floor, flying debris is massive polygon blocking the screen. I did have random bad patterns before the reinstall, but it would be like one floor tile looked odd. I also have had multiple game crashes which I have never had before. They only started in act3. I played the last several stages of act 2 with no crashes. Also in act three the flying beasts that land and spit fireballs glitched on me bad. They would flash on and off screen despite causing me damage. I had to kite away and teleport out. When I returned to the battlefield the issues were gone. Please help. I really want to play, but at this point the game is unplayable. It was borderline with the rubber banding, but now if I can't solve this I am just going to uninstall and trash the game. Basic specs: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series AMD Phenom ™ II N850 Triple-core processor 4GB Ram I do not know a ton about computers but if you point me in the right direction I can learn.JusticeBlade3 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 Glitching and rubberbanding = dead dead dead. Okay, so I'm new to Diablo, to Blizzard, to online gaming in general, so please excuse any incorrect/lack of terminology or understanding. I'm currently playing as a Barbarian - looking forward to inferno, yay - level 32. These are problems I've had on my main PC and laptop and in three different internet spots/locations. I'm having a couple of issues playing solo and multiplayer with friends. First off, I'm getting the common disconnect every now and again, no rhyme or reason to it. My friends have experienced the same problem. This is especially annoying when you're in the middle of a big quest etc. Second, I'm having way too much 'rubberbanding' (I think?) in which everything stops but my character, and although I can click on things nothing happens until a few moments later when suddenly everything has moved forwards; basically a time-lapse. As a barb, this usually happens when I'm in the middle of a horde, and so of course by the time everything resumes normal function and speed I'm usually dead. It's pretty hard to fight enemies you can't see. Third, glitches. Not sure if anyone else has experienced these. After I survived yet another time lapse, my follower (the Scoundrel) disappeared. He was still around - I could see his shots firing, although I'm not sure whether they had any effect on the enemies - but he was invisible. Didn't reappear until I gated to the town. Another glitch that was driving me mad was one in Act 4, one of the side dungeons which had panels that solidified when you walked on them. After getting the chest and clearing out the baddies one of the panels kept flashing and half-forming. Figured it was a time-lapse thing, but when I tried to leave, my Barb disappeared and reappeared next to the glitching panel, and after that I couldn’t leave the spot I was standing in – character was running, tried using Leap skill etc, but couldn’t leave the spot. Wouldn’t let me use the town portal in that area either. In the end I had to logout and restart from the last checkpoint. Anyone had the same issues / know of a fix?Grevesy55 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 Yet Another Constant Error 3007 Hello! I have been constantly getting this 3007 error. It happens approximately every five minutes, sometimes more and sometimes less. Although, I do not think I've been able to log more than 15 consecutive minutes. I just purchased the game the other day, and I've been having the issue the whole time. Since there haven't been any patches since I purchased it, I couldn't tell you if it was okay before that. I stay up late, like until 7 EST, so I don't think it's an issue with the server being crowded. I know my internet is connected the entire time. My internet connection is certainly not the best, however I've never had a similar issue with WoW, or a game by any other company. I've always been able to stay connected to any game, and I rarely have any lag. I have tried connecting to General chat (disconnecting and reconnecting, rather, as I was in General chat the whole time), as well as Trade and I believe Monk, Barbarian, and Demon Hunter chat to try to keep the connection active. Secondary Logon is enabled. I have tried bypassing my router, which didn't help, as well as updating the firmware anyway. I've also opened ports 80, 1119, and 6881-6999 as outlined in another 3007 thread. (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5151268312) I also gave connecting to Europe's servers, then logging out and reconnecting to US a try, which didn't work either. I haven't been able to find any other changes and workarounds that have worked for others, which is why I've resorted to making yet another 3007 thread. Also, on the note of connecting to chat - for the few minutes I am able to stay connected to the server the chat works fine, tons of spam and everything. However, before I get 3007'd, chat will stop working for a while. I'm certain it isn't a pause in conversation and BUY OUR GOLD spam, and I'd assume that when I stop getting constant chatter is when the connection ceases, and I stay online for about a minute more before getting the error. The following is my network information, as I saw a blue request it in another thread (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5639239576): OS: Windows 7 64 bit Firewall: Windows Firewall, I believe. If you can determine any issue I may be having on my end, I'm willing to try most anything, or if there's even just some kind of workaround, that would be great. And pretty please, with cherries on top, if it is on your end (which many do suspect it is) please try to fix it as soon as possible. I don't know how far I can get playing like this. As challenging as this timed-trial sort of thing is, its getting a little old. It took 6 hours of gametime (And if I could count the logins it took to log six hours I would.) to get to the Skeleton King. I'm not sure how long it takes those who aren't getting this error constantly, but this is certainly far too much. :( Thanks in advance to anyone who has any help at all to offer! :)Rainbowdeath5 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 Lag and Rubberbanding I've always been a loyal Blizzard customer. I've pretty much own all your games and played them for years. I never really b*tched about any patches or anything to do with the past games. The thought of quitting do to in game problems never crossed my mind. But now I'm at a point where I can't really take anymore of this BS from D3. I get random lag spikes and the stupid rubberbanding BS. I've lost 2 Hc heros do to it. I don't really care that I can't get them back. I've fine with that. I just want to be able to play HC and not worry about these problems. Jul 6, 2012 Diablo 3 account restriction Hi, I recently bought my diablo 3 digital copy and about 4 days ago ( 2/07/2012) and I still have restrictions on my account for example accessing RMAH or speaking in general chat or not being able to trade items or gold with other people, it always comes up a message saying " there is a 3 day waiting period ", well if those 3 days waiting period have already passed why do I still have this weird restrictions. Thanks in advance.Skydro2 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 Crazy latency if I can connect. Lately my internet has been letting me down. I honestly think it is a hardware issue with my modem. But in order to test it further I was wondering if there was an IP address I could tracert to to see where my latency issues are popping up. I live in Weatherford OK, 73662. What server would be the best for my connection?Erroneous0 Jul 6, 2012

Jul 6, 2012 Frequent disconnects and router settings I've been having the same disconnect problem as most of the other people on here. After troubleshooting my network, I finally figured out it was my router that was causing the disconnections. I bypassed it and was finally able to play again with no problems. The thing is though this is a recent problem that just started around 2 weeks ago. I own 2 copies to run LAN and was able run both copies flawlessly together since launch, now I can't run 1 copy on any of my computers without getting disconnected, and that's both wired and wireless. I own a Linksys E2500. I haven't made any changes in the last few weeks so I'm not really sure what settings I can change, especially since it happens on both a wired and wireless connection. What settings should I adjust? I'll probably be messing with the QOS settings when I get off of work and resetting my router to start fresh if that doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated.R3CON3YEZ1 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 Blizzard, fix this already. Alright, so EVERYTIME I get to the past in act 4 at the end, what all of them almost die and then you go fight Diablo, my screen goes black, so then I have to restart the game. Then I need to wait about 20 minutes just because Blizzard has a stupid, irrelevant error that pops up when I try to log back in. Why does this happen? Is it because I skip the cutscene? Is my game broken? Or what? From what I can see, a bunch of other people are having this issue as well. Blizzard, can you stop nerfing everything four one day and fix these bugs? Myself and a bunch of others would really appreciate it. Edit 1: It finally let me log back in, I come back and it does it again. Blizzard, for the love of Tyrael, what the hell is going on?Saber1 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 change system in auction house give us more possibilites! 1. it should be possible to sell more than 10 items at once.. maybe even 50? 2. it should be possible to cancel my auctions.. cause i could wrote wrong price or select wrong item.. 3. it should be possible to change prices during auction.. when i see nobody is buing maybe try to sell for lower price 4. lower auction fee to 5-10%! or delete it cause its just game money so its going to nobody..Koostuch1 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 Rubber banding and stutter What the hell is going on Blizzard, since your patch 1.03 its worse than it ever was. Dont tell me its my internet connection or my isp, because this is the only game I play where it does this. It is so bad that it kills any joy I have to play the game. Its even worse when a small mistake can kill you in inferno. For the 100th time, please fix this before anything else. And stop blaming the users for their internet connection. If the D3 team cannot make a game where there is no rubber banding or stutter, dont make any game at all. Im sick of reading the excuses from your customer reps. This does not happen in SC2 or WoW.Vezhan0 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 Error 3003 on US!!! So i got this error 3003 while trying to log on US server today, sometimes it pops 3007 and 3006 too. BUT, I can still log on Asian and EU servers AND Starcraft 2 US server. So there's no way my connection has problem. *** Is this how you prevent Chinese gold farmer Blizzard? Block connection from outside the country?Sjlent1 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 Diablo 3 Crashes my computer for the past few weeks it seems that diablo 3 has been crashing/locking up my computer. sometimes i can play for a few hrs and others only for a few mins. the computer either complelty locks up to where i have to hard reset it(holding down the power button) or the game will lock up and i can still move the cursor around till the screen goes black after a few secs. if the game does not come back within a few secs of goin to the black screen, it crashes the computer to the blue screen. id really like some feedback, playing diablo 3 on inferno seems pointless, if i cant get the game to run properly for extended periods of time :( ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 7/4/2012, 23:08:53 Machine name: CURT-PC Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.120503-2030) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Dell Inc. Jul 6, 2012 Need official response from blues Are you aware of problems that many people have with the game? I'm talking about performance issues like game stuttering, FPS drops for no reason mainly in sewers etc. It has been two months since release and i can't play the game normally. And i know it's not my fault or something because many people have the same problems. Game can run smoothly on my PC, I can see it but when im in certain places and moving im having FPS drops out of nowhere. It should slow down only in fights , it does and thats correct. Call me stupid but I can easly say when it's normal that it slows and when it's not. In caverns of araneae for example it runs smooth but it changes from 60 fps to ~30 for no reason, there is always the same environment. Another proof that something is wrong is that changing options doesn't help. Game is running/stuttering the same way whether im on low details and resolution or medium with highest resolution. I bought the game because i thought that only beta is not optimized. This is ridiculous. Sorry for my english. Edit: If there is a response regarding this already, tell me. Maybe im just blind.Nexx5 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 I have high-speed, consistent internet & yet: I have consistent, high speed internet via my cable provider. (My potential modem speed, in fact, just got doubled last week.) I have a high-speed dual-band wireless router, though my desktop connection IS WIRED. I exceed all of Diablo 3's requirements by far. Here are my issues, however: Rubberbanding: On average, several times an hour, my character will rubberband 3-4 times in a row. Frequent location or action lag: Mostly noticeable with my ranged characters, at least once a game session, the game seems to lose track of where I am to the extent that my attacks (if they function at all) appear to come from a point outside of my character. This usually leads to rubberbanding or a disconnect (error 3007, tonight, at least.) Sometimes the animation for my attacks as far as the player's sprite is concerned occurs, but nothing beyond that happens. First of all, the concept that I should join general chat to stay connected is absurd. (http://eu.battle.net/support/en/blog/4899103). General chat is nothing but spam-bots and I have no desire to be a part of that. Secondly, the idea that the problem is on my end is incredibly unlikely. I have taken part in many, many (other) online games and have never had this much problem with any of them. I have to say...this is very depressing when it comes to trying to enjoy Diablo 3. I have taken many flames defending this game, as I really do enjoy it and think it in most ways superior to D2, but this issue is keeping me from wanting to play. The lack of stability makes solo play a crapshoot, and as it is, I would never consider playing hardcore. If there is ever any sort of ranked or reward-based PVP, I'm afraid I won't be playing that either if this issue still exists. Tomorrow, I will take steps to see if my router needs an update, but it is a fairly new model and I doubt that is the issue. Like I said, this is the only online game that gives me any trouble.Japhasca8 Jul 6, 2012
Jul 6, 2012 Error 3007 suddenly started appearing. I've started getting "error 3007" today. Played aprox 200 hours without it. Same setup, everything else is working, other games have no issues. I've lost NV stacks, can't progress because I'm getting kicked out of the game. Putting D3 on hold until this is resolved.whrsmycoffee1 Jul 6, 2012
