Jun 28, 2012 What is with This Lag I'm level 60 demon hunter doing act4 runs in hell because these servers are SO UNBEARABLY LAGGY. I remember blizzard saying repair cost were raised to and I quote "Pay for your mistakes" meaning our mistake in dying however we are not dying because of our mistakes we are dying because of your SLOW UNBEARABLY LAGGY SERVERS. I know it is summer time and the servers are busy but really this is awful. Every time you run into an elite pack the game don't just lag it outright pauses. I have tried running the ipconfig /release than /renew than /flushdns Nothing. I have tried deleting the battle.net and blizzard folders out of the all users folder and nothing the rest of the internet RUNS FINE except the d3 client. I have tried everything and this is not a problem on my computer because my whole family and several friends play and it is all of us. You have this game so cranked for no reason all you do is discourage group play because with 2-4 players you can't even move unless your in town than no lag at all!!!CloudyTank11 Jun 28, 2012

Jun 28, 2012 Banned for siting hours on ah hi , my second account got ban for siting many hours on ah every day , what i usually do: for about 30-1,30h i refresh every 1-2s tab to snipe a good item which i can resell with profit i never use any bot , scripts , just siting many hours on ah , i check forums like ownedcore and i saw this thread : [removed] and what you can see there , ppl got ban today for using ah bots , and autoit scripts i dont rly know what to do , its seems to be a banwave and its propably 100% that my account is lost , but im 100% sure that i dont use any 3rd party programs and no one can on my acount , becouse i got authenticator... I'm pissed because I lost a lot of strength and nerve, and it turns out that the better choice would be to use a bot ,becouse for Blizzard it not difference Im write it as a warning to others who want to snipe the ah for many hours , becouse i dont think i would get my account back :( Bye Bye 60lvl monk and dh ... so patheticTurtles15 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 Stuck on Updating Setup Files I bought the game a few hours ago and downloaded the client. I ran the setup and it has been updating setup files for nearly an hour and the progress bar is no longer moving. The progress bar actually jumps back sometimes... The first time I tried doing it, it stopped responding and recommended restarting the computer. I restarted the computer and then ran it again which is where I am now, stuck a little over halfway with a sporadic progress bar jumping back and forth.HBurgerTime2 Jun 28, 2012
Jul 3, 2012 Can we get a clarification on the RMAH terms? Many threads are popping up on the general discussion forums regarding the section where it says you "cannot use the auction house as an investment vehicle." One poster even went as far as saying he was banned for buying items on the gold auction house and selling them on the RMAH for profit, as can be seen in this post: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5978117806?page=1 I want to assume he is just lying and was probably botting, but I would really appreciate some clarification because there seems to be a lot of confusion as a whole around it. I personally have been buying items on the gold AH and selling them on the RMAH and have yet to be banned, am I at risk for being banned? I am not botting, everything is done by my own hands and it is with my own gold that I have earned, I just don't want to lose my account because of an ambiguous clause in the terms of service. So any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, BrianBrian28 Jul 3, 2012

Jun 28, 2012 Error: Diablo 3 has stopped working Once in a while randomly while playing in game (roughly 1 time in 5 hours of playing), Diablo 3 crashes and I get an error that says "diablo 3 has stopped working and windows is checking for a solution" (never finds one though). It doesn't happen that often, which normally wouldn't be a problem except I'm playing hardcore. It's cost me one death so far, and trying to prevent another. I updated all my drivers, and it still happens. Anyone have any ideas on solution? Jun 28, 2012 Internet completely DCs on... phone call? This is likely less of a problem with the game and more with my computer setup somehow, but I'm hoping someone can help with it. The cable modem for my computer is a few feet away. It goes through a wireless router, and then is wired to my computer. My iPhone is hooked up to the wifi. I've made a bizarre observation. If I am playing the game, and I get a phone call, the game DCs and all the lights on the modem go out except the power. Complete and total disconnect everytime I get a call. If I'm not playing the game and I get a call, nothing happens. Its not a huge deal, its not like I get calls all the time, but if, like now, my wife decides to call and chat while I'm playing, its an instant DC. Just wondering if anyone has any insight into what might cause something like this.Aardvark0 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 Game Shuttering somewhat Solved Blizzard upped the graphics settings for some reason. If you computer can handle good graphics, set ur Max Forground FPS to 200, Background FPS 200. Set Texture Quality, Physics, and Clutter Density to High. Leave Shadow Quality "Off" This changed my FPS Drastically. Although there are no shadows in the game, the game runs way smoother. There might be an issue with the shadows options. All I know is when patch 1.0.3 came out with "Smoother options" it ran like !@#$ I just turned the shadows quality off and the game is more relaxing to play. We hope this will be fixed soon. We just gotta wait patiently. It could be a programming issue. Please give me some input if this worked you guys as well.Evilseed891 Jun 28, 2012

Jun 28, 2012 Weird sync issue I have sync issues where my client isn't taking server updates to game state. On my screen, I can move about freely, I can cast spells, but they don't go on cooldown, and I can't see the effects. I can't see enemies or other plays moving, the only thing that I can do on my screen is move. Here comes the weird part. I have a friend over, we are playing together, I can clearly see his screen from where I'm sitting. All of my actions that I do from my computer are clearly taking place on his screen. While watching his screen I can see myself moving about, shooting, casting all manners of spells, even very accurately too (in regards to me moving on my screen and aiming my spells on my screen, on enemies I can't see). This comes in spikes, usually lasting about a minute, when it clears I'll see things quickly catch up to where they should be, and I can play fine for another minute before it desyncs again. This issue first started tonight, when my friend came over and we both started playing together. He is not affected by this. I first restarted my client, then my computer, issue persists. Edit: One more thing to add: As soon as he left my game, leaving me being the only one in it, sync issues were gone. This is the first time we played together since the 1.02b, before that we had no issues playing together. Edit2: The issue only occurs when we are in the same game. After about an hour of separate games, he joined mine again; issue came back.Intrexa1 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 Disabling Cross game chat Ok, what if I don't want to be seen by friends who are playing D3, while I'm playing WoW? Why don't I have the option to disable that? Jun 28, 2012 Netbook + D3...is it possible just for AH I know my netbook does not meet minimum specs, but I was wondering if I could install it and D3 would load up to the hero screen and let me access the auction house? Thanks for the insight/help!!N2DEEP2 Jun 28, 2012

Jun 28, 2012 Linking my Pay Pal to Diablo 3 account I just purchased the Hard Copy of Diablo 3. Currently I have the Starter edition installed. I want to install the Full version of the game but I have a question first. My Battle Net account is created with my name and email address. I want to link my Pay Pal account that I have had for many years to be able to use the RMAH for making purchases and selling items/commodities. When I opened the Pay Pal account...it was created in my wife's name. What I need to know is if there will be any issues linking my Pay Pal account to my Battle net account to accept funds that have been generated from D3 RMAH. Do the names of my Pay Pal account and Battle Net account have to match? If they do I will create a new Battle Net account for my wife in her name to be able to link it with Pay Pal. I did not want to have to purchase a second copy of D3 at a later time to be able to use Pay Pal with RMAH. Looking forward to a official response. Thank you.FullThrottle4 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 Error 3006 - can't login Hey I was just playing on my alt wizard (hardcore, if that's of any interest) and I came to the cut scene right before you take the last portal up to Diablo and my screen turns black. Now I can't login as it says "Error switching heroes" and I wonder if something happened to my wizard.allana1 Jun 28, 2012

Jun 28, 2012 Rubber banding without lag. Looking to find answers on this one because the issue is rather odd. Running on a very stable internet connection, fps stays stable around 20-25 but im certain it is not an issue to be found on me end. While that last part may seem arrogant, here is my situation. While playing my barb, no issues. No rubberbanding... at all. While im playing my newly created DH... terrible rubber banding. To the point of sheer unplayability on a nightmare difficulty. The rubber banding occurs almost predictably now when I try to move after firing off a few shots. It has never been mid movement. Few mates on the friends list experiencing similar happenings, and I wished to see if this was a known issue, and if it is not, are there others out there experiencing this? EDIT: By stable internet connection I mean that I am experiencing between 100 and 250ms on average. and this rubberbanding is occurring when my ping is sitting around 180.Scrubberdub3 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 Disconnecting on the Butcher Ok, perhaps I am the victim of insanely bad luck, but anyway, here it goes: Starting last night, any time I reach the Butcher with five stacks of NV I am disconnected. I am not disconnected on any other fight in the game thus far, and in fact, subsequent attempts on the Butcher do not disconnect me. But across several attempts on the Butcher in Inferno with five stacks of NV, I am disconnected from any time from a few seconds to a minute into the fight. It is more than a little annoying to reach a boss with five stacks of NV and be disconnected from the server, especially since I can't duplicate the problem without five stacks of NV. (edit): I had made two changes in the game before last night, namely a change in my build and displaying health numbers on characters. I reverted to my previous spec and settings and killed the Butcher without DCing with five stacks of NV. I will revert to the other spec and settings and see if there is some weird bug going on. If it doesn't happen again, then disregard, I just have bad luck.arrykjaq0 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 Battlenet Account Locked It says this whenever I log into Diablo 3, and requires me to either change my password or answer a security question. I don't want to change my password at the moment and I don't want to answer security questions every time I logged in. I don't get any warnings when I log into WoW, so is it possible that this is a false positive due to me getting a new hard drive and re-installing D3?Tabuu2 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 Suddenly 1fps Let me first say that my computer can perfectly handle what Diablo 3 can throw at it performance wise, and I have not even seen a bellow 30 fps drop since I started playing. I had played for several hours about half a day ago, and now I return to my computer to find I can barely even log in as Diablo is lagging my entire system from the login screen. Forget trying to actually play the game. There had been absolutely no change in my computer between twelve hours ago and now.kindless10 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 Why is the game so slow after patch 1.03? I was playing D3 smoothly, but it is becoming so slow after 1.03? Anybody has the same issue here? I know the patch changed the graphical setting back to default. I know how to change the option. Before 103, I can run game smoothly with default option. After 103, I cannot run it without stutter even I change display option to lowest quality.smilodon8882 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 VERY low FPS my computer is Intel Celeron 3.33Ghz, 2gb ram, 8400gpu video. i know its a bad pc, but i play some games very well, like HoN. I've played Skyrim, with low fps, but still better than diablo 3. i think there is something wrong, because i've played since 21th may well, but when its patched, its impossible to play know.Ozzymandias1 Jun 28, 2012

Jun 28, 2012 Agent Error I am receiving the unable to run agent error. i have tried everything it says to do online. i have tried many fixes from many other post. nothing works. My problem appears to be that the agent never actually runs. i watch my process and the agent never opens. what does open is a thing called "dlllhost" then that quickly stops. Any help on this issue? i have tried runnign the agent by its self with the same "dllHost" thing coming up.Icephoenix1 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 Ok... This AH is kinda pissing me off... OK, so I bid for two items right and then a few hours later I check them. It says that I have the highest bid but I am not winning for some reason. I try to up the bid and its takes my money but says my bid was too low and it makes the current bid even higher. I try again and it takes my money and make bid higher but I am still not winning the bid. Oh did i mention that i never got my money back from the AH even after it expired and some one else won it supposedly? Is any one else having this problem or is it just some #*%&@! up action on my side?BiRen924 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 Highest Bid =|= winning bid? Just checked my bids and saw the other bids were getting close, so I upped a couple of my bids. (Gold AH) First it says "transaction can not be completed" and the whole auction disappears. Then I close the AH panel and reopen...It shows all my bids that I adjusted as "Not Winning" but "Your Bid" is what I bid and the "Current Bid" is what it said before...WTF? (example Item Blue ring - "Your bid" 12500 "current bid" 9750 but still says "Not Winning") Not sure if I'm actually going to win these bids now or not. Anyone else get this and still win the bid?Brilyent4 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 Auction House not working I logged in and tried to collect AH stuff and it keeps saying timed out, can not retrieve payment info, and I can't do anything. Seems to be happening to others. Is someone looking into this or can you? Thanks!Brooke7 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 Random Purchases That Was Never Made Are there anyone else encountered an issue where in RMAH you get random purchases that you actually have never made? I wish there was a way to check through the items. I can't even search for the items that I allegedly purchased. =(Cylently0 Jun 28, 2012

Jun 28, 2012 Installation problems Hi guys! I'm starting to get crazy and I need to know if I'm the only one with that kind of problem. I'm installing Diablo on a Mac using the DVD. During the installation of Diablo III, I had a problem with my internet connection resulting on the crash of the program at 69%. I launched the program again but the launcher wouldn't continue, saying that the file it was downloading was corrupted and I should try again to download it. This file : "diablo3\updates\d3-0-9558-OSX-final.MPQ" appears to be corrupt. You may need to download this file again." I deleted it and tried to launch the install again but it wouldn't work. Then I deleted the entire game folder and the the Diablo III Application Support Folder + the Battle.net Cache to start fresh. Now the installer just checks for the updates and quits without doing anything else... I'm really losing my nerves... What about you guys? ArkhornArkhorn1 Jun 28, 2012

Jun 28, 2012 44 days after D3 launched (come for a look) Well, today 28th June which is 44 days after D3 launched .. (about 20+ times server down) It is about the 7th-8th weeks now (correct me if there's my mistake) the game is constantly down for "maintenance" for a couple of times almost every week specially weekends. believe that most of u people out there are mad and angry in completely due to the problems that brought by D3. myself, YES. I am so sicked of it. 10 years times... been waiting for such a long period of times... for something that makes u people keep your eyes on the forum all days and times in term of "server status", "errors 3xxx" , "issues and solutions" . (if u noticed it) here the questions are....what is the point that the D3 been launched when there are having a ton of problems ? Or is it a common thing that down for a couple of times every week for maintenance? Secondly, why blizzard doesnt come across the main issues and yet launching RMAH...? I'm wondering if their concept is money first, consumer comes after? (thats my opinion) and what's yours? much appreciated for those viewing the thread...teng3 Jun 28, 2012
Jun 28, 2012 No payment methods found? WTF? Trying to bid on an item about to expire. Nope, can't bid because the ah doesn't seem to know that I have gold.Stri1 Jun 28, 2012

Jun 28, 2012 Random computer restarts My computer has been randomly restarting when I play Diablo III. Sometimes I can get a couple hours of gameplay in and sometimes I can't get more than 5 minutes in before it happens. I've had my computer serviced and just got back home to test it and it did it again. I have an ASUS CM1630 which is about a year old. I have AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 220 Processors (2.8 GHz), 4 GB of RAM, NVDIA GeForce GT 240. I have no problems running WoW and there's no rhyme or reason to the restarts. Any thoughts?Tsunaze10 Jun 28, 2012
