Haven't played in over a year help!

Wizard
I quit the game before paragon levels and all these newer things were introduced.
I have 3 level 60 characters, which doctor, demon hunter, and a wizard.
I do not even know where to being with paragon levels or how to gear my characters up to properly farm gold or hit higher MP.

I have a budget of 1.2 million. Can someone educate me on where to get started in terms of gear, which MP to start farming at, which character I should use? I have absolutely no idea, but I want to get back into the game.

Please I know these are super noob questions. I have googled and watched tons of videos and still don't know what to do. Most guides and videos are already for people with tons of gold hitting MP10.

Thanks in advance!
Also should I be soloing? Should I be playing in a party? What is the best way to approach my current situation.

These are the two most efficient Wizard builds. There are others, but with 1m gold I would stick with the most efficient ones. Look into them and choose one.
Yeah...1.2M is pretty tight. Here is my guide for how to do a CM wiz on MP5 for 15M.

And here is MrDuMa's guide for ultra budgets CM wizards (and giveaways!)

Come to think of it...I might have an extra set that's slated for giveaway. Or could at least get you started. Send me a message with "pie you're awesome" in the friend request. I can use the ego boost. !!

Hey, I have made a lot of improvements over the past month. Got any more suggestions? I want to improve my gear more to be able to do MP8-10 more efficiently, don't know how to improve my DPS without spending billions of gold.
A Mempo without CC in an SNS setup is not good. Use a Storm Crow with CC and 430+ LoH. That'll allow you to switch to a non-APoC Chantodo's Force with Vit and more +damage, and a Nat's Reflection with CC instead of LoH.

That change costs you a breakpoint and 70 AR, and you're already a bit on the low side. Pick up 65+ AR on your belt, bracers and pants. If that costs you some Int, that's fine, the extra CC will more than compensate. The IAS is a bit harder to replace. An ammy with IAS and CC and whatever other rolls you can afford is really your only choice.

An alternative would be to switch to an 1.79 APS Chantodo's Will and 9 IAS Lacuni Prowlers. This also costs a bunch of CD, but allows you to drop the IAS on the Litany and still stay on the 2.728 breakpoint.

You'er not doing too badly, but the Mempo (and the AR on the ammy, to lesser extent) is trapping you in a bad spot. The above changes may sound a little excessive, but will put you back on the right track.
I tried doing that, and I ended up losing DPS and less protection :S
I see most wizards hitting 200k-300k dps with mempos instead.
That's because they have billions of gold to spend, allowing them to afford a Mempo with crit. A Mempo without crit has no place in an SNS build.
