Technical Support
I have a Q8300 @ 2.5GHz with a quad processor, so while it is technically below standards, the quad processor should be able to accommodate enough to make it work. The downloader is stuck at 0 and i have been prompted numerous times that I am below requirements. Is there anyway to force start the download or trick it into believing I have the adequate hardware?
CPU is above the recommended.

What are the rest of your specs?
Thing is it only prompts me about that one inadequacy specifically.
Perhaps the downloader just takes alot of time to start?

The only thing I can think of is that you may not be running the 12.4a catalyst driver. Everything else seems okay.
thanks for answering.

I guess what I'm wondering is will the installer not proceed if it deems that I am under system reqs, as is the case here?
Wait metal what was your graphics card again?
Ok so now the install client has changed and is working, after about 7 reboots, no more error message. Strange but I am thankful.

My graphics card is an ATI Radeon 5450 HD hopefully it works !!
you could be safe, if the latest driver is bad don't download it i think it applies to any that are below the 5000 radeon.
and there we go its up and running. Don't know what the initial problem was but a different installer popped up after the 7th or 8th time of rebooting and it is now fully installed.

A big thanks to all who commented!
yea metal you should be able to play this game with no problem at all, goodluck man still having the operating system crap going on with me can't even install =/
