[BUG] Timing out during AH purchase

Bug Report
I attempted to purchase a shield for 39k on the AH. The request timed out but I lost the gold and did not receive the item.
Happened to me on an item as well, tonight. How is that handled?
I LOST OVER 800K IN GOLD, ITS BEEN 15 HOURS, I STILL HAVE NEITHER THE GOLD OR WEAPONS
I hope that they address this issue. Has anyone gotten a response from Customer Support?

Needless to say, this needs to be cleared up before RMAH goes live (not that I'm planning on using it). Let's see if they still make the 5/29 date. In the meantime, this kinda puts a hold on me playing the game at all. I know! Let's create our own unofficial AH an do everything by person-to-person trade...
lost 7k on 20 jewel tombs, do we need to report the incident to anyone, or will they hopefully restore the gold or the items eventually? Maybe when they are done messing around with it tonight I will see my tombs that I bought.
Use the auction house with caution and I would avoid using the real money auction house entirely when it opens. After much correspondece with Blizzard support I finally got what I was looking for, this is from their terms of use section 15 #ii "BLIZZARD EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY (Under ii: (ii) THAT ANY AUCTION HOUSE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE;)" Basically if the auction house errors out, times out, or has a bug/glitch, blizzard will not be held responsible for ANY re-imbursements. Saying that about gold or items in a game is one thing, but saying that about real money transactions is something entirely different.
