Well, if your goal is to lvl fast and efficiently, I wouldnt hit mp10 until lvl 15 (when you have access to socketed items, basically)

Just buff yourself with High lvl gems and rip !@#$ apart with rend.

Yup, just go herd a giant pack of monsters on mp10, leap into the middle of it, use wrenching smash, rend...watch your xp fill up!
If you're still new and haven't made it to 60 yet I suggest you start collecting gear.
So you can easily get yourself back to 60 if you happen to die.
Well, that's what I stash in 2 pages of my bank in. Just leveling gear.
Not having much use for it now since I have 10x Level 60 Barbarians and completed Hardcore Inferno.

Izual was actually a very easy kill, so long as I was careful to avoid being frozen by popping Wrath of the Berserker or charging out of range. I stayed near max health the whole time without using any potions.
Diablo is finally down on Normal, ending that difficulty. I killed him at level 35 with Frenzy (Sidearm), Furious Charge (Merciless Assault), Threatening Shout (Intimidate), Revenge (Best Served Cold), Wrath of the Berserker, and War Cry (Hardened Wrath). Nerves of Steel, Superstition, and Tough as Nails were the passives. My Enchantress, level 35, has Forceful Push, Powered Armor, Erosion, and Focused Mind, along with a blue Maul with 32.4 DPS, 73 Strength, and 100 Intelligence; a blue Eye with 40 Intelligence and 35 Vitality; a blue Ring with 37 Strength, 34 Dexterity, and 21 Vitality; a blue Ring with 21 Vitality; and a blue Amulet with 36 Intelligence. I'm using entirely self-found gear; the legendary Leoric's Crown with 151 Armor, 41 Vitality, 4% bonus life, 1.5% crit chance, 4 yards of bonus pickup radius, and a socketed Flawless Amethyst; blue Spaulders with 77 Armor, 38 Vitality, and 227 bonus life from globes and potions; a blue Amulet with 38 Vitality; a yellow Splint Cuirass with 77 Armor, 49 Vitality, 35 Strength, 15 Dexterity, 4% ranged reduction, 7 life regeneration, 153 bonus life from globes and potions, and a socketed Flawless Amethyst; a yellow Grand Belt with 78 Armor, 60 Strength, 39 Vitality, 1.3% life steal, 2 thorns damage, and 102 bonus life from globes and potions; blue Gauntlets with 57 Armor, 13 Dexterity, 24 Vitality, and 47 Intelligence; blue Bracelets with 44 Armor, 39 Vitality, and 2% ranged reduction; a blue Ring with 30 Vitality and 86 bonus life from globes and potions; a blue Ring with 40 Vitality; yellow Plate Leggings with 95 Armor, 12 Dexterity, 42 Intelligence, 21 Vitality, 6% magic find, 13 bonus life from globes and potions, and 2 socketed Flawless Amethysts; blue Sabatons with 66 Armor, 61 Intelligence, and 29 Vitality; a blue Tower Shield with 15% block chance, 110-148 block amount, 235 Armor, 45 Vitality, and a socketed Flawless Amethyst; and a yellow War Sword with 15-37 Damage, 1.40 aps, 3-8 fire damage, 63 Strength, 49 Dexterity, 16 bonus experience per kill, and a socketed Flawless Ruby. Diablo was a fairly easy kill, so long as I was careful to avoid the lightning attacks, the cages, and to escape the fire rings. I stayed above 50% health the entire time with no need for potions. Onward to Nightmare!

The Skeleton King was an extremely easy kill. I tanked everything, and although he took a while to drop, I stayed near maximum health the entire time with no need for potion use.
Wow, that's a lot of info for leveling! Keep it up this could be quite helpful for a newer player.
And now he is dead, slain by the almighty, unbeatable DC. Ah well.

That's very anticlimatic :(

RIP
Haha yeah... The only thing you can't avoid on hardcore, might aswell go fast because you're going to die to a DC anyways! :P RIP RIP.

If you just stack as much vit and strength as you possible can and get the 3 defensive passives most people are golden (20-30 vit+str * level should be doable).

Unless you go with ridiculus abilities you simply can't die. 2 tips for hardcore: always keep a "oh !@#$ button", meaning one/two of your 7 abilities (potion included) is that button. When it is used it means you are near death and you shouldn't stick around. Remember you risk your character every battle :)

the 2nd tip is that for normal and nightmare, especially normal, CC effects are not reduced (bash, stomp, snare etc.). They even work on most bosses. So stacking CC abilities on normal and nightmare gives you the opportunity to almost run through it naked. On hell just switch around, get revenge, max EHP, take it easy with the kripp style.
