This build uses: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#acXeQT!dUh!cZabZY

Seeker Missile
Arcane Orbit
Crystal Diamond Skin
Arcane Mines
Wormhole Teleport
Scramble Storm Armor
+Illusionist, Temporal Flux, Unstable Anomaly

Primarily an anti-melee build, it's pretty fun to play with if you enjoy hiding and running in circles.

(Yes, I was a little over-geared in the video sample, but the concept is still there)
PVP stands for player versus player, not player kiting player.
Totally 'no skill' or 'pay to win' build. No strategy needed, just run until enemy dies.
Storm armor in pvp is as lame as Cleglaw's Pincers was.

yeah, this pvp seems more like unreal tournment
I haven't personally tried dueling yet in D3, but I'd be willing to bet that standing toe to toe with melee classes would be a pretty stupid strategy. Kiting is still pvp, and it requires more skill to be defensive and play smart than it does to stand toe to toe, it was the same in D2.
I like that build actually, I was Tryin to use the mines but couldn't figure out a good rune. Nice.

If I wanted to go head to head, I'd play a melee character.

This is like saying DHs shouldn't be able to Smokescreen. Or WDs shouldn't be allowed to Spirit Walk.

Are you kidding me?
Yea I play HC and my gear is no where near yours but I find the running/defense builds the most useful in my early testing. Hardest for me have been DH's, it seems to be who can hit who first. I love storm armor, and lighting hydra is very useful since the others just get dodged.

I used this build last vs a dh

I just tried this again. It works, just not very well against ranged characters.

And once more, just have to repeat the title. This is "for fun." Some might even call it a troll build just to mess with people.

Wizards are meant to use trickery and deception.
Not a single death, nice one. Archon gear is viable for pvp after all :)
nice video...definitely a build worth checking out.....
lol love your troll build

So PVE is not players kiting environment either, almost every wizard playing pre-1.03 was not actually playing...

I found running around obstacles and using the terrain to my advantage involves much more "skill" than pressing some "skill button":)
i just wonder its work so good vs other player and build like vs this poor barbie:P
nice
