[GUIDE] Thunderstrike Gameplay + Build

Barbarian
I'm back with another guide! If you missed my last guide for a Sleet Storm Wizard, you can find it here:

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/7763736933

This build uses Thunderstrike's stunning mechanic to focus on heavy burst damage for guaranteed AoE stuns. Overpower and Rend provide considerable hands-free damage with multiple options for increasing survivability as needed. Battle Rage with Into the Fray supports the spamming of Thunderstrike, but you can opt for a Mighty Weapon and -HOTA items if you want to use Marauder's Rage.

Feedback and/or criticism is welcomed and appreciated as always :D

Great stuff although in truth Jim did a similar guide a few weeks back.

I use Tough as Nails instead of Bloodthirst but otherwise the same build. Only downside is killing the last mob runs down WOTB slightly so you gotta be a bit more careful with time than using Smash.
Dunno who Jim is, but I'm likely to repeat information from time to time unintentionally. I have a lot of builds and I can only cover them so quickly :*( Part of the reason I won't make any claims to fame about my builds since I doubt I'm the first one to ever use a particular combination of abilities

This was one of my older builds from months back though, so I'd like to think I didn't copy anyone. I could be entirely mistaken though, lol
In fact there were already some players (in the minority) who preferred TS to Smash long before Jim formally put it together in a build. I learnt from them too ;)
Using TaN I have a big problem with reflect elites on MP 10.
The RD was so bad.

@ProzaicMuze

I always like your VDO guide, it is entertaining to watch, keep up the good work and more guide :)

By the way, i watch your monk - LTK - Hand of Ytar build guide. This build really seems it lack of damage does it ?

Are you saying you had issues with reflect when you used Tough as Nails or that you needed to use it in order to survive reflect?

Glad you enjoy them and more are certainly on the way! (Also PoE content very soon!)

Hand of Ytar (Ion Cannon) is currently above average damage-wise, but once the patch hits the damage will be quite significant. I picked up a LS weapon for the PTR after posting the guide and had little issues surviving on MP5-7.
Just posted the guide for a Multi-Strafe Demon Hunter:
