I know the method in variables.txt inside My Documents, but in my case I dont see My Documents file in my Mac, thats why I asked if in this new version Blizz had change the method.
Your Variables.txt file is now in ~/library/Application Support/StarCraft II/

Thanks Lucytr, but the exactly location is ~/library/Application Support/Blizzard/StarCraft II/

Yup the variables.txt file use to be in Documents (when you said My documents, I was like wait a min...lol). It was moved because it was better suitied in the new location you mentioned.

I believe the command for limiting the fps in those files are:

frameratecapglue=30
frameratecap=30

You can change the number to anything tho.

Hi, the same problem now in Lion and with the last SCII update. There is no more variable.txt in
~/library/Application Support/Blizzard/StarCraft II/

Where is now? Thanks!
Hi Carlosguev,

It should still be there as far as I know. Remember that Lion automatically hides the user library (~/Library). Make sure you are looking in the correct Library, as the system library (Macintosh HD/Library) will not have that file.

Easiest way to get to ~/Library from Finder, is to hold the "Option" key (Alt key for non-apple keyboards) and select "Go" from the menu bar. While the Option/Alt is being held, you should the the Library icon/option is available. Select it and you will be in your user Library.

Let me know if that helps.

Dedciated to making your Mac/Blizzard Experience an awesome one!
Alea iacta est. What will you do now?
Is my game dropping to 0 fps because I can't find the framerate cap and such? I can't seem to find it in the variables.txt so should I make it myself?
You can try to make the entry and see what happens. I don't think it is there by default.
