Really, an assassin that can't even sneak up on targets. If I were to make an assassin, Even with a measily three skills, I could create one far superior to Zaros.
"My original plan was more of an assault. And he still can operate as an assault, just can operate as an assassin due to the perma cloak."

Seriously guys, the best way to beat Abel is to just trip Abel and lol.
Pretty much. Hitting anything at all at that speed would be lethal. O.o Force Field. And I haven't used up my last upgrade from Alnarak yet.

But I'll be nice and not choose Force Field. I want something more interesting anyways.

Abel is most certainly beatable, assuming you can be creative enough with your attacks. For example, say Abel was to run beside a brick wall. Shoot the wall in an area in front of him and see what happens to him when he trips over a piece of debris at ten bazillion kilometers per hour.

I doubt you would trip him, as he could jump over your leg, but it would force a trajectory as he flies trough the air. And the brick wall would force a blink.
Good ideas, but I can think of ways to avoid them.
Now you see why I choose reflex as my first skill. It is the building block for everything else.

Yeah, I know. It was just an example of how using attacks in unconventional ways work better against Abel than attacking him normally.

"My original plan was more of an assault. And he still can operate as an assault, just can operate as an assassin due to the perma cloak."

And you have been swapping around roles! That, as I said means, he is not a focused character!

Thanks Owl, I explained how certain characters can Gain an advantage over Abel in combat earlier.
It was a joke...
No the tripping Idea would force a trajectory, as he jumps over your foot. If you set up an ariel mine, or even fire a continuous line of fire in the direction Abel is going, you could either force a blink, or Abel would take damage. Now time to shut up, before I give away more ways How to pwn Abel.

It was a joke...

But a decent way to attack him regardless?
From wfawwer

Abel is certainly beatable. For example, I would use Dark Swarm and Razor Swarm to put Abel inside an unfavorable position where I can land Maelstrom and Stifle, then finally take him down with my offensive abilities.

Explained Owl!
As well as most of the other points in my posts on the first page.
Abel's main ability is to avoid engagements. His second one is to set them up in his favor. Because I endlessly test new tactics, and generate ideas, I can be a flexible opponent. The more skills I have, the stronger Abel gets. This effect is exponential, because skills can be used in conjunction with each other in so many ways.
This is also why I am angry because I can't get new skills.

Sweep of Ion Beam in the air in front of him, creating a curtain of plasma. Forces a Blink to prevent taking a lot of damage from pretty much running through a wall of fire.

See, that is the kind of thinking I love. And also why I want new abilities. A few threads Ago, I asked for a skill called dark wings, which would allow him to change directions in the air, as well as improve his speed.
It was just in case someone thought up of a way of forcing Abel to jump!
But sadly it was never approved, and now I have to rely on blink for everything.
You have to think, to beat Abel.
Everything has a role, whether specialist (Abel) or all-purpose (Hale). Specialists do what they do extremely well.

In any case, if I can find a way to incorporate it, I will implement every challenge I can, but I never throw something unbeatable- at least one of you always has a way to beat every enemy.

Take the Titan Dweevil, for instance. The ideal one to strike it would actually be someone who.posts often, if they were to get their hands on the Yellow Alloy (there will be a later opportunity).
Anywho back to the RP.
Cayl's a tank, just to clarify, though he could double as support if needed.

IC: I watch Flint and Zaros drop, and sigh. Life seemed to hate me this week. I will had my plasma rifle with great range, but I was only immune to one attack, the others would still romp me.
Indeed.

The simulator abruptly stops, and the tanks open to face Umbra. She smiles nicely. "You know, because you're all still plugged in, you.are all helpless. I could do whatever I want." Her eyes glow, and her stomach growls. "And you know what I.want."
Brian walks into the dining room with a large bag of beef jerky.

"Last post of the night. G'night all and have a nice sleep."
One of my hands slowly move towards a katana. <Shadow, Umbra's at it again.>
Is there a specific person she is talking to?

BTW all atk stats are updated.

IC:

I look strait at Umbra unable to move because of the machine. This was an unexpected turn indeed.

Jessica, now would be a good time for you to get Shadow or Jess. I think Umbra is going to try to consume either Cayl, Zaros, or me. And I do suggest you hurry.

Crap that does not sound good at all. {Shadow or any of the other teachers, there is a problem in the Commune VR room. Its Umbra.}
I start running to the room as fast as I can. I activate my cloaking and draw a Kaiser blade in case I might need it.

Cayl. I might be able to protect you and Zaros. If I can get off a psi-shield over both of you it might detach you from the machine. If not it should stall Umbra some.
