ram support

Off Topic Dicussion
I would like to know if a G.skill F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR its same as the F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR2 in term of compatiblity as in the compatiblity i only see the F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR2 one.
There's a voltage difference between those two models. GBSR is 1.5v while GBSR2 is 1.25v.
There's a heatsink cooler difference (GBSR2 is slightly taller).

All other key RAM specs seem to be the same.
so what good motherboard would fit with that ram can't seem to find any... my CPU is i5-3570 (no k) (no OC)
Any DDR3 motherboard will fit it, but it remains to be seen if it'll cooperate with existing RAM.

If you don't have two of the same RAM sticks, there's a good chance that they won't be compatible together.
but if i go in the memory compatibility of pretty much every motherboard I see, the model isnt there, does this actually matter?
99.9% of the time, no.
