Starcraft 2 not updating

Mac Technical Support

When I try to launch Starcraft 2, I see the updating menu, but it would always crash after a couple of seconds. I tried to reinstall the program, but the problem persists. Any help would be appreciated.
Can you post your system specs, so we can look into this?

Obtaining System Information
    1. Hold the 'Option' Key and choose System Profiler/Information from the Apple Menu.

    2. Copy the information from the following sections:
  • Hardware (remove the Serial Number line)
  • Graphics/Displays
  • Software (remove the Computer Name and User Name lines)
I'm having the same issue on my MacBook Pro. The updating menu pops up, then closes after a few seconds. A pop-up asks me for my computer password to allow it to make changes. When I enter it, a smaller SCII logo pops up in my Dock, but it's always "Not Responding" and I have to force close it.

You will need to run Software Update to get to 10.6.8 to be able to use the migration patch. This installed a helper app known as Agent, which requires 10.6.8+ to run.
